The wired controller for Xbox 360 is brilliant! It is a lot lighter that the wireless controller, and does not require any batteries.

Official controller are alot better than any other imitations on the market. They last longer and are completely compatible with all game.
I would recommend the Official wired Xbox controller over all others.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Great for using on the PC

I was a bit worried this would not work on my PC, but I should have had no fears. This makes playing PC games like FIFA 08 and PES much easier and more enjoyable. You will need to install some drivers to get it to work, but you can let Windows do that by searching the internet for you when it detects the controller.

Once again Play.com beats everyone else on price, and with free delivery it sweetens the deal that much more :)

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Very good controller and a decent price tag to boot!

This wired controller is very good value for money as its around £10 cheaper then the wireless one and then you have to pay for batteries or the add ons. The wired one is alot better as well as it keeps going without you ever charging it or changing it. Anyone whats the difference between the wired and the wireless one. Sure there is one less cable coming out but its just one. The wired controller is a bargin and well worth getting!!!!

not outstanding, not new and innovative, but great, new runs out or needs recharging, never breaks down. just great, i have a wired and wireless and find myself using wired more.

Having had this controller for some time, I feel as though I have the right to give it a fair review. I won't waste your time with techno-babble; all I will say is that this is a pukka piece of kit. It does everything it needs to, and more in my opinion. Its robust and very well put together, like all of Microsoft's it's made to take a beating and still come back for more.

The size of the unit suits western europeans and not so much our asian counterparts, mainly due to the size of hand difference. The configuration of the buttons is something we are all used to now, so no surprises there.

In a nut shell, it's a great piece of kit that will do the job it's designed to do. To be fair, I like the MS range of gear that complements the xBox 360, so I don't have too many bad things to say about it!

Get one and it'll be the last controller you'll have to buy, as it'll last forever!!!!

This pad, while wired, still offers more value for money than a wireless pad. For one, a wireless controller costs more, and then you'll need to cover the cost of batteries/plug & play kit on-top of that. Therefore a wired pad is more logical to save money.

It's also a good idea to have a wired pad for backup, just in-case.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Decent controller with a few problems

I've seen LB on my own and one of those at work become erratic, which isn't surprising when you look within; the switches for the LB and RB buttons need to be more solid (it wouldn't hurt to replace those for clicking the sticks either). These aren't quite so annoying as the d-pad, though.

Regardless, it's still a decent enough controller and serves my Mac just as well as my 360.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars good but only for multiplayer

Nice and comfortable, and the USB wired version is compatible with Windows Vista, which definately makes it the best controller for the PC.
