The original Wired Headset was a lot better than this updated version.
It's a lot easier to pull this one out by accident when moving your head and the mute button is harder to use when in a game.
Other than that the sound and qaulity is perfect for Xbox Live and the I can't see why everyone keeps saying it breaks because I had my old one for 3 years and it didn't break once!
Just take good care of it and don't move around to much when you play online.
People keep saying take better care of them, but no matter how well you look after them, theirs always one time you leave them out and they break.

My second one just stopped working for some reason, hadnt even stepped on it or anything, just so fragile
The Xbox 360 head set is great and is a lot more comfortable then its predecessor from the original.
The head set looks great and is an integral instrument when playing online.
The only bad point is that they are quite delicate and mine broke rather easily hence the 4 stars.

my third headset has now broken after not even a year playin on xbox live, cant even play gears of cod4 properly now, a headset i vital when playing live, how many more complaints do microsoft need to get before they take this seriously and make a reiable headset that doesnt become faulty.
I`ve had my headset for a year. and i have never had a problem with it. Its really fun to talk to online players. so i recommend everyone who plays online to have it!!
