A great connection when it works, but with mine you have to wiggle the wire around until the light on it comes on when the 360 is moved a little. Even so, it might just be that mine is faulty, and the rest are fine. Very pricey, but quite well made (assuming that mine IS faulty), and gives you a very good connection to Xbox Live.

Pricey but great performance. This product well exceeded my expectations. I thought that as most wireless adapters it would be hell connectiiong it up and keeping a long smooth connection .. i was proved dearly wrong. I even sit in my conservatory at the back of my garden playing on my xbox and get an excellent signal. I was more than impressed when i purchased this item, but i was very stupid and purchased from game stores intsead of play.com as here its alot cheaper!!!!!

First off, this is quite pricey! But to get around that, convince a family member to buy you it for christmas, thats what i did!
Anyway, it is a great product. Had it since christmas last year and have had no problems whatsoever. Set up is easy and it must be more powerful than my pc wireless adapter cos they are pretty much in the same location but the signal is greater on the xbox!
All in all, 4 stars only because of the price!
Expensive and unreliable

I had one of these after being told that the connection would be better than using my laptop as a wireless receiver, but it made no difference and even broke down at times when the console got hot. I'm still using my laptop as a wireless receiver and its worked faultlessly for a couple of years now.

There's no doubting how important it is to have one of these - the Xbox 360 experience simply isnt the same without Live and all the bells and whistles that come with it. However, as everyone has rightly said, there is no doubt that the product is overpriced - and badly. I'd argue that for something as important to the gaming experience as an internet connection, the adapter being priced at £55 means that a lot of people will miss out on the experience as they cant afford to invest. If Microsoft dropped the price to something more reasonable, like £25/£30 I think we could be talking five stars. But not until.
to expenise !!

i find when my xbox starts to get hot the wireless adapter stops working and i have to reconnect it. At £55 its not worth it.
Useful but costy

A really handy tool and probably needed by many.
It's a bit sad that it's so expensive tough, a console of such generation should come with it inside by default.
In any case it will be a requirement for many, so if you need it or don't mind paying money to remove a wire, then it's your call :)
awesomesness of wireless
