what if you already have 20gb

I do think this is a great price, but what if you have a 20gb hard drive already, how would you transfer data from that to the 60gb one when you can only plug one in at a time??

To answer the question from the reviewer below to get your saves from ur memory card to the hard drive just the plug the hard drive in put ur mem card in aswell go to the dashboard tab system settings click memory your see hard drive and card go to card select your save then your have the option to move to hard drive simple as that no need for a data transfer lead,
For 55 quid this is good value seeing as 20gb hdd were 80 quid and a 3 month subscription to live never goes a miss good for 20gb users looking for extra space cheers

This is a fantastic deal, i remember the 20gb HDD sold on their own for around £69.99 for a long time, but now you can the 60gb, wired headset, Ethernet cable AND 3 Months Live. If you were to buy all this separate it would you cost quite a bit more. One drawback would be the transfer cable not being included like in the standalone 120gb HDD, but it would only mean you lose your save game files, everything else you have downloaded for free or paid for will still be available to download once you have recovered your gamer tag.
They are so simple to fit, just stand the console upright, remove the small mesh grill from the top to expose to the top of the console, simple put the HDD in back first and then push the front down, and you will hear a click... done. It will automatically recognize it.
Its a good choice for anyone with an Arcade model or one of the old cores, or even if your just looking to upgrade from the old 20gb HDD.

To nadee08: The hdd has a matte finish, not chrome - not sure why microsoft have done this, surely it doesnt cost them that much to add a bit of plastic mirrored trim.

Also note that this is a starter pack, so it doesnt include a transfer cable - you will have to use a memory unit to transfer your profile & game saves onto the new hdd & just re-download all your videos, themes & gamerpics.

If you have a 512mb memory unit, you can probably transfer most videos, themes & gamerpics in a few swaps.

Also note that the hdd has 51.5gb of usable space after deleting the 3 pre-installed demos.

This is actually a good question not like the one below asking about crome? I would like to know if it comes with a data transfer cable or would i have to buy one of those from microsoft aswel. Thanks for any replies

This is for people that have bought this bargain deal. Is the hard drive crome around the edges? Or is it like the 60gb premium console's hard drive which has no crome finish but more of a matte grey.
