  awesome value

This is an absolute quality bargain as if you do your homework you can find a 20gb hard drive about on the net for around £60 so to be able to get this for that cheap is a great deal. The hard drive will be a good buy especially if the nxe does allow you to put your games onto your hard drive without any need for the disk any longer. I would suggest though if you only want the hard drive for that purpose i would wait for the update to come out and see what you will be able to do

  Great Value bundle

Buyers should note that this package does not come with a Data migration cable to transfer saves from an existing drive but if you give Microsoft support a ring they will send you one free. (Expect to wait 3-10 days for delivery).

I have got the 20GB XBOX 360 Pro and I am going to want all of my saved games, demos, videos and DLC (downloadable content) on the new hard drive. Is it going to be possible for this to be transferred or is it only my profile which can be transferred? For £50 its a excellent deal especially with the new dashboard!!!

You don't need the HDD to get the NXE update

For those stating that you need the HDD to experience the NXE update dur to take place on the 19th, you don't.

You only need 128mb of memory space to download the update this can be done with a 256mb or 512mb memory card the only thing that you wont be able to do is install direct to HDD.

In all this is a great buy.

If you want to buy a new hard drive and get your old profile on it, you can recover your gamertag off X-Box Live. It takes about 5 or 10 minutes to do but youll have your exact old profile on a new, bigger hard drive.

The fact that they throw in a 3 month gold membership softens the blow of the £49.99 price tag. This helps as a 3 months gold is worth about £15 and a wired headset costs about £12.99 meaning that the cost of the drive is well worth the £22. I will be upgrading as i am now running low on space and with the new XBOX Live now allowing you to install your games directly onto the hard drive for faster loading times. This is a must, also if you don't have a hard drive you won't be able to use the new Live experience and you will be stuck with the old blade system.

I currently have a 20gb hard drive with xbox live for my xbox 360 and i am thinking of upgrading to this 60gb hard drive. Obviously i dont want to lose any data from my 20gb hard drive though. I have asked in shops and they have said you get a data transfer cable with each new hard drive, does anyone know if this deal comes with one as it doesnt say...? Can anyone help???

  BRILLIANT IDEA

This is a great way to introduce more people to Live. Currently own the 360 Elite and i have Xbox Live and cant really do without it because you can download demo's and trailers etc and get add-ons for your current games. Plus online play is just superb with games like COD4 and Gears Of War 2. This starter kit gives you everything you need for a really good price so if you own the arcade console then definitely get this. I got the Xbox Core console when it was first released so i had it for about 10 months before i got rid of it. Dont know how i managed all that time without Xbox LIve and a Hard drive. A must buy for any non Xbox Live users

  AMAZING value for money

About 2 months ago i bought a 20gb hard drive for £80, a headset for £15, £10 for 3 month membership and a cable for £5. All together i paid £110 and got 40gb less than this is offering.
This is outstanding value for money. A must buy if you are just starting or if you already have started.
