The Godfather II (2)

Was a little disappointed with this one. completed the game in under 20hrs thats including cracking all safes. taking over business's is far too easy even when their was 30 odd guards to kill, it only takes 1 shot with the magnum or pistol so in 20 seconds i had pretty much killed them all. game has no end of glitche(ie) characters sticking to walls etc. worth a play through but dont do what i did and pay £40 wait and get it pre-owned. If you wanna earn some easy points then getting all 1000 out of this one aint difficult. 3/5

EA unfortunately have made big,big mistakes with this game!!!The graphics look no different to the original Godfather on the PS2.Why they didn't utilise the the HD technology of the new gen consoles to give a better game experience,only EA knows.The gameplay is not much different from the the original either,extort,murder,take down rival families etc.
However the new concept of being the Don was a great idea,being able to control your family members and put out hits etc,unfortunately EA haven't excecuted the idea very well again(pardon the pun).You would have thought EA would have learnt from their mistakes from the original Godfather and not made the same mistakes again,this could been such a good game but I was left numb, and extremely disappointed.
The game will bore hardcore gamers within a few hours,my advice would be save your money and wait for Mafia II.

I thought this was a great game, and was shocked to see other peoples low views on it.

Its a great crosss between GTA / Saints Row with the old Gangsters series. I didnt put it down untill it was finished, and cant wait for a third...

This game is amazing, this is the first time i have ever played a Godfather game and it is just thrilling, the graphics are alright and the gameplay is addictive. I hate it when people compare it to GTA4 which is good but this is not GTA its Godfather and its not supposed to be like GTA its supposed to be like Godfather hint in the name. Godfather was out before GTA i mean the film so technically GTA copied Godfather. Overall awesome game!
