The rocket launcher fires primary devastating rockets, whilst the secondary fire opens a shield that can defend shots that come head-on.

Preys USP comes from Tommy's spirit form, a press of Y and he will leave his body and fight with his spirit paired with his powerful Cherokee bow. He maintains this by absorbing the souls of fallen enemies, and it can be used for head-on fights, stealth attacks, and puzzle solving.

Personally I rate Prey's story better than Halo 3's, although the multi player doesn't fair as well. Prey has excellent maps and fast-playing Quake-like action. Unfortunately, lag is a big factor as it can be ridiculous at points, and you'll have a hard time finding a public match these days on XBL.

For £10 Prey is an absolute must, even if you don't like FPS. The mix of portals, alternating gravity, incredible weapons, and stunning graphics and textures, you can do no wrong buy picking up this 360 classic.

The solo play is one giant puzzle, which may put some people off, but if you can get past the mind-bending wallwalking and teleporters its pretty linear. It's the one fps that actually makes you use your brain and can prove a bit of a challenge. Another great feature of this game is death; a contradiction, maybe. This game when you die allows you to go to the spirit world to collect life points and spirit points from fallen enemies and when you go back to the real world you carry on from wherwe you died.. meaning no more having to start from the beginning of the mission or checkpoint like in halo and gears of war. Another great feature of this game is the guns. No reloading.. EVER! this is a much welcomed addition to the fps genre. This game at point gives you ammo sparingly meaning you have to get to grips with what weapons work best against what monsters otherwise you can see yourself running out of ammo very quickly. You can also use the wrench pretty much throughout the game and it is even favourable on some monsters. Don't know what it is like on harder difficulties but when using the wrench to kill hunters you can actually walk right up to them and they stop firing at you and try to move away. Overall a really great game, I recommend this to anyone looking for a decent challenge.

A gameplay tip: Hardly anybody plays this game online anymore so i suggest you and your friend buy a copy so you can get the online achievements. If you do this getting the full 1000 gamerscore should be pretty easy.
