Well these points come in useful as they can buy you a lot of downloadable content from XboX Live Marketplace. This could include purchasing Movies, Xbox Live Arcade Games, Xbox Original Games, Game Content (For example, 'Rock Band' You can purchase more songs). You can also Download Themes and Gamerpictures for your Gamercard, And If your bored with your Xbox Live Gamertag Name, You can always use the option of changing it with the points.
There is other stuff you can spend the points on but the bad point im going to mention is the fact that the points can be used quicker than you think an therfore you would have to buy more points agan.
But im still giving this 5*

Microsoft points are essential for any Xbox LIVE user. They are essential money stored in a points format and can be used to purchase various items from the Xbox LIVE marketplace.
The 2100 points card is very handy, especially for people who don't want their credit card details stored on Xbox LIVE or for those of you without a credit card.
So many games these days have downloadable content on offer and this points card allows you to easily purchase them, simply enter the code found on the card to live and you're allset to buy things.
Downloadable content includes maps for popular titles such as Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, new music for Guitar Hero and Rock Band, new cars for Forza Motorsport 2 and PGR 4 and expansions for Mass Effect and Oblivion, there is also new DLC coming in the future for games such as GTA IV.
Also available to buy with points are Xbox Dashboard themes, gamerpics, Xbox Live Arcade titles and HD movies. There is so much on offer and to truly be able to benefit from Marketplace, then this points card is essential.

Points system on Xbox Live is good, having points offers a wide range of extra features including old school games, like sonic, and extra game content for most main games on the 360. Games can cost 400-1200 points depending on the age and popularity of the game so its important to be selective. :-)

ok its 2100 points mainly i been purchasing the Live Arcade games in which i probably spent about 5000 points so far :P the games are classic games and cost around 800ms points each but this varies on the games. also bought the map packs for halo3 to play with my mates which is awesome. but no microsoft have released movies to download and watch which me and my HDTV appriciate lots somthing good on when the television channels are boring.

Then you need this card, it is fantastic value - you wont get it cheaper - i know i checked! :)

If you own COD4 and want the new maps you need this card to buy them for 800 points (about £6.50)

Also with Grand Thief Auto IV around the corner and as they plan to release downloadable content (only on xbox360) you will need these points to buy it!

Play.com gives the best value for microsoft points for sure which you can use to buy all kinds of game content. The only problem is, new game content is usually a bit pricey and you can easily spend your 2100 points in 5 minutes, meaning you have to buy more. I would advise you make sure that you know exactly what you want before you get the points and then order them off play.com for best value!

If you have an xbox 360 that's attached to the xbox live system, you need one of these cards to get the best from xbox live. Like most things on Play.com, you will not find it cheaper else where, so stop looking!

What you are buying is basically a code, when put into the "live" control panel will give you 2100 points, these points can be used to buy "content". This can be small avatars', online multi-player levels or my favourite, additional add-ons to your favourite game. You simply redeem the points and buy your content, simple!

I purchased one of these 2100 MP cards solely to buy the new Halo 3 map pack, but I found myself with plenty points left to rent films, download gamer pictures and themes etc. It really is worth it at this price.

I bought this when I first bought my Xbox, and I never regretted it.

With this, you can buy maps (as mentioned below) or entire classic games such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Rez HD and Ikaruga for just 800 points (or even less in some cases!)

It's a must for everyone who likes simple yet fun to play games!

This is good and is great value for money but I'm only getting it for the Halo 3 Legendary map pack on the 15th and don't know what to do with the left over points i wish there was a slightly smaller one without having to use a Master card or an American Express on the marketplace.
