Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is the prequel to the critically acclaimed Wild West action shooter Call of Juarez. As the McCall brothers, players enter a doomed quest for the legendary Gold of Juarez leading them from a ravaged Georgia during the Civil War to the Aztec ruins of Mexico. They make their lawless trail into the wildest West ever depicted, using their gun slinging skills and killing all of those that stand before them. But when brothers face Lust, their bound of blood feels thinner than ever...

Dual Collaborative Gameplay: Players can choose to embody either Ray or Thomas, each with a distinctive gameplay style, specific abilities, and weapons. They collaborate with their other brother taking advantage of each of their strengths and joining fire in the fiercest fights imaginable.

Deadly Gun Slinging: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood offers a visceral shooting experience, relying on gun skills and upgradeable guns. Whether close or long range, they harness a variety of weapons from heavy caliber canons to machine guns and various pistols for face-to-face duels. Every accurate shot increases their concentration, which allows them to unleash deadly shooting modes when outnumbered, and even deadlier ones when the brothers work together.

Uncharted Territory: Bound in Blood depicts the West before it was tamed with iconic settings full of outlaws. The McCall brothers face a gritty Lady, a renegade Apache chief, a greedy Mexican bandit, and a vindictive Colonel, all driven by greed and moral disregard. The players enjoy a wide variety of situations, using horses, canoes, and wagons to explore the open natural landscapes of the mythical Wild West and of its legendary period.

Innovative Western-themed Multiplayer: Gunslingers, Bandits, and Marshalls struggle online for the bounty. Multiple characters are unlocked for team-based objectives modes or the straight forward team deathmatch. Bound in Blood introduces a Bounty system, which sees the players increase the bounty on their head with more kills and try to get rid of the deadliest among them to increase their bank-rolls! Objectives-driven, team based missions let them relive the most famous scenes of the Wild West.

People , People . Please remember not every game is COD

I'm sick of everyone comparing games to COD 4 , yes it is probably the best game of all time and the multiplayer is the only of its kind , however if we keep comparing games to it every half decent game will look like a train wreck.

Now that I've had my rant I would like to talk about the game , no the single player is no cod however it is not repetitive and has alot of replay as you can use 2 characters, theres side quests and they're lots of achievements that require 2 or 3 plays. Now again the multiplayer is not COD 4 but its still very good with upgradeable classes and unlockable classes through the money system that is unique to call of juarez.

Call of duty is in a league of its own , but this game is unique and should not be compared. Call of juarez is a great by as its a fast paced western unique shooter with some great features and great replay value that will have you atleast pulled away from COD 4 for a few weeks.

This game is 5 Stars for its Fun multiplayer and uniqueness that reminds me of Timesplitters.

This is a brilliant sequal to the last game with new improvements and graphics. The game story mode is a bit short but is made up with replay value and a good multiplayer. If you like western games then this you carnt miss... 9/10

Top 100  Reviewer Top 100 Games Reviewer

Call of Juarez is a gritty, engaging and frenetic game with that authentic twang of frontier madness that makes it an accomplished Western.
You'll find yourself grimacing as you slowly reload, taking cover behind a rock and then squint down your sights, letting off a recoiling shot. This game is in the style of a old fashioned FPS, which works fine, because it's an old fashioned country.
The majority of the game is an entirely linear storyline, with an occasional interlude into a free roaming wilderness. These breaks are a refreshing change of pace, although the environment feels painfully underdeveloped. But overall the single player is a satisfying experience.
It's also well worth mentioning the multi-player, it's popularity may have waned since its release, but it's a solid effort. Highlights include outlaws versus law-men, bank robberies and bounties, all set against authentic Western backdrops. It all demonstrates that both the Multi-player and Single Player experience of Bound in Blood is strongly tailored to what Wild West fans want, and it truly delivers.

       Great Game.

The single-player is extremely fun and because of the achievements there is alot of reply incentive. I ended up playing the story three times and at no point did it become tedious or repetitive. As I had not played the previous game "Call of Juarez" I believed I would not understand the story quite so well, but "Bound In Blood" is a 'pre-quel' set before the original game and therefore did not require me to play it to understand the plot. The main characters Ray and Thomas each have there own special traits, Ray can duel-wield and is deadly at close range with pistols whereas Thomas can wield knives and bows and is great with the rifle, you can choose which character you would like to play as at the beginning of each mission. I personally preferred Ray as alot of the action is up-close and especially on Very Hard difficulty he is alot quicker than Thomas.

The multi-player is also extremely fun, especially with friends. You can select one of 13 varied classes and there is alot of game-modes and maps to play. Also, you can unlock Silver (Prime) and Gold (Superb) weapons by reaching $200,000 and $1,000,000 cash respectively. However a few problems I had with the multi-player was alot of the matches I played were 'laggy' and instead of just delays in actions, it completely stops your character moving thus making you an easy target for anyone unaffected by the lag. After a while I got bored of the multi-player. So don't expect it to be the next Call of Duty/Gears/Halo!

Overall it was an enjoyable game and I definately would recommend it, 4/5.
Finally, type in the code "735S653J" on the 'Exclusive Content' option on the main menu, it will unlock you Silver weapons for MP, $40,000 and Gold weapons for the first two story missions.

       Wild West done right!

At last, a decent wild west game. The first Call of Juarez was okay, but nothing special.
This on the other hand is one of the most beautiful looking 360 games you will see in along time, it plays pretty well too. There is a small amount of 'pop up' in the scrolling and moving aspect of game, but it does not detract from the game itself.
You again have two characters at your disposal. ray mccall and his younger brother thomas, ray is stonger, takes more hits to kill, and is a goos close range fighter who can wield dynamite. Thomas is faster, can climb and jump higher, can use a bow, and is a better ranged fighter, particularly with a rifle.
The game has some fantastic shoot outs and 'cowboy' set pieces along the main storyline, and you have the chance to play some free roaming side missions too. The game features a 'concentration' system similar to the first game, where you can shoot a large number of enemies in one move, this is timed however, and you have 60 seconds to use it, and you must kill a certain number of bad guys to charge it.
The storyline is pretty good, with fine voice acting from the main actors, wild west cliches apply of course, but on the whole, is very good and quite absorbing.
There are a few niggles, it's quite a challenge, this is due not to it being a hard game, but to enemiies being very difficult to spot against certain backdrops. This can involve you being shot or blown up up and thinking 'where did that come from?', also some may fine the on screen pointer system a bit confusing, a small star will show the way to your mission location, and a small cowboy hat the location of your AI partner, they are small and lost in the scenery at times.
The multiplayer is very good also, lots of familiar modes and player classes, but its a shame there is no co-op in the main story.
All in all its a good package that first person shooter fans will enjoy. A solid effort that may make you want to check out the first game, but be aware that this game is a prequel to that game, this game explains how ray becomes the slightly mad preacher you meet in the original call of juarez.
Well done all involved in this game, its a lot of fun, and a very pretty and decent shooter.
