This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is based on the CG animated movie produced by Imagi Animation Studios and based on Mirage Studios' Foot Clan-kicking Turtle heroes. The game takes place in a New York City plagued by secretive villains and strange, otherworldly creatures. Faced with these perils, the Turtles will experience their most trying time as heroes and as a family, as Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo lose their focus and struggle to maintain their unity and ninja discipline. It's up to Leonardo and the faithful father figure Splinter to reunite the band of brothers and save New York City from a monstrous evil that lurks around every corner. Players engage in over-the-top acrobatic navigation, collaborative combat and powerful fighting moves.

Play as all 4 Turtles characters: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are represented with unique combat skills and acrobatic moves.

Relive the CGI movie: The game follows the movie plot and includes all the key environments, characters and enemies.

Combat Evolution: Begin the game playing as a single character, then rejoin the family to fight as a team with the option of collaborative, combat moves.

Exciting Action Experiences: Acrobatic jumping from rooftops, scaling tall buildings, diving down sewer pipes, pole-vaulting moves, and flying with nun-chuck weapons.

Special Video Game Bonuses: Some enemies from the original comic book series will feature as guest stars in the video game!

Go Multiplayer on Handhelds: The handheld consoles will feature special Multiplayer features with special gameplays and environments via Wi-Fi or Internet.

This game is not as bad as people think.
Parents, want to keep your kids busy for a while, well my 10 year old was hooked on this for 2 hours last night & is still asking to play it again.
Yes its quite easy & 1000 achievement points is a bonus but at a sale price it is well worth a buy as I did.
This is just a basic kids platformer & should be bought as such, it's not gonna stand the test for hardcore gamers but it is fun.
You could do alot worse than this so grab it while its cheap
          Have fun kids

           One for the kids.

The turtles. Most people in their mid 20s will probably remember the cartoon with fond memories of the foursome defeating shredder and kangs force's on a weekly basis and this game lets you do the same thing, well not to shredder and kang as they are long gone. The only thing is this game is very very easy but lets be honest it's not really aimed at the grown up market is it, so i feel it shouldn't be judged too harshly for that.

If you used to watch the cartoon back in the late 80s as a child and now maybe have a young one of your own then this a good game to pick up for them to introduce them to the classsic characters and keep them happy.

Who knows you may just feel like sneaking a go yourself when they have gone to bed. It is an easy 1000 gamerpoints after all.

a very limited game with not much scope and very little ingenuity. borrowed mainly from ubisofts prince of persia format, the levels consist of running jumping and climbing, with any battles short lived and easily won. a blast from the past of many platformers from the ps1 like the original spiderman, the game was several hours of relaxing play. i would only recommend this to kids 6-14, mainly with previous limited gaming experience. Its main plus, an easy 1000 gamer points with the first run through ;]

Not a great game, just a revenue spinner to be honest, worth playing for nostalgia but any newcomer to the Turtle franchise should stay away from this game.

no great storyline, no animation just comic strip storyboard and voice over.

Movement and fighting is basic and boring after the 2nd level. Combos are easy and the fact you cant have more than one turtle on screen at any one time is complete madness. Since when do the other turtles appear out of thin air?

Will take you about as long as it takes to make an omelette to complete, to be honest you get a greater reward with the omelette rather than completing this turkey.
