A number of reviewer have given this game not such a great review score, but they dont know what a good paintball game is when they play it. Its definately the best developed simulation of paintball created. Its pretty quick to get into thanks to the training sessions, showing you how to lean, snap, sprint, dive and jump etc.
Graphically it is pretty good, although the developers could definately improve all round. Sound wise the paintball shooting, splats, team communicating are pretty authentic.
The locations are based on the NPPL and Millennium field layouts along with 5 woodsball fields.
Some may find the game will become too repetitive over time, but anyone who enjoy paintball will love it, specially 7v7 online multiplayer.
You can earn credit and skill points to improve your team and purchase new equipment.
Overall it is a fun game at a great price

I got this game and thought it was pretty good, the controls are setup really well with the right bumper and right trigger acting as a single trigger which can be double tapped like a real marker/gun...

the only upsetting thing is i cant find any online games?

     It's paintballing..

Not a bad game for the price, but i find it very difficult (still trying to win the 1st tournament!). I'm not to good at games tho so don't let that put you off! I really enjoyed the multiplayer, which is just like real paintballing, one hit and your out... you can't just go running in and shoot or you won't last 10 seconds! Overall if you enjoy paintballing, you'll enjoy this game. Definately worth trying at this price.

     Not bad, but not groundbreaking.

Having been a long time player of tournament paintball and following the paintball game genre since greg hastings number 1 i was expecting big things. Unfortunately it did disappoint a little. Whilst a solid game generally, the difficulty definately needs sorting. On my first run through on Pro no strategy was required other than literally run down a tape (one side) all the way to their end, slide into a back corner and distract while your team cleaned up. Yes this worked all the way through to the very end, even on pro difficulty. However, if you wanted to take full advantage of field breakouts you could make it more difficult for yourself and make realistic breakout plans. This adds to the tension which you can otherwise completly avoid by just running around.
Another major let down is the multiplayer, more often than not it is so laggy that its a case of you can get up the field as quick as possible first.

Having said that, getting friends over can create some fun situations and the looks are a definite step up from max'd and for £24.99 miracles aren't to be expected.

Probably more worth the rental than a buy even at this price(if you can find a copy). You can finish it in a weekend and the multiplayer just isn't worth it. Easy achievement points (500 just for finishing the game on pro straight away).

Paintball enthusiasts only, it doesn't stand up as an FPS which saddens me to say as i was definately looking forward to this. Hopefully Max'd 2 delivers come christmas time.
