 Brilliant

Put simply, this game is superb and for 17quid is an essential buy. THe argument of BF2 vs COD are a little more complex and personnaly are of limited use in my opinion. I own both and love both. They are similar, yet very different games both with strengths and weaknesses. I'd struggle to say wither is "better" but each would suit a different sort of player. COD is much more an instant hit of action, an arcade game if you like. BF2, whislt in no short supply of action, requires a different pace and approach. Creeping up, planning an attack and working in unison with your team mates is essential to succeed. you could go on for ever comparing the two, but to me that is the essentail difference - COD is a fantasitic arcade game, BF" is a soldier sim you need to work at.
I personally prefer BF2 if pushed. With the simply awesome Vietnam add on this game is just brilliant. THere are glitches, but adding in vehicles, destructable environments, proper coop team play, BF2 does it for me. However, for a half hour blast, COD creeps back in as BF2 engagements can last an awfully long time with well matched teams and COD has a undeniable pick up and blast appeal.

 MW2 step aside!

A short review as i want to go play some more! WOW what can i say, if you want realistic FPS action with destructible environments and tactical game play then this is the game for you! Ill compare this to MW2 as i did not know if i wanted to play BC2 but man MW2 hasn't got half of what this game offers, first off no glitches, no lightweights and no 12 year old fan boys, they stay on cod!

I recommend this game to all who want a change from MW2 unbalanced online and unrealistic game play and glitches.
Bad company 2 Game of the year 2010!

 time for MW2 to retreat

Just finished playing the full version of the game and i couldnt have asked or a better sequel
The banter between the team is hilarious
The action puts other FPSs to shame. It just nails everything that makes the battlefield franchise so good.
Whilst some niggling bugs remain it doesnt detract from a brilliant solo play.
looking forward to taking things online

the demo alone is better than MW2

from the demo this game looks astronomically good. awesome visuals, great sound make it good, but the destruction just ramps it up. its such a fun game, and unlike call of duty, is really balanced, with each class and vehicle being equally good in different ways. a must buy

 DEMO OUT NOW!!!!

Just got this demo off xbox live and i think its REALLY GOOD!!!
Defo a day one purchase for me.
Initially this game is overwhelming and VERY hard....but stick with it and although its a lot slower than COD, its a different type of shooter.
After a few games i got used to the vehicles handling (as with previous battlefield / 1943 games its initially tough) and started to work with other players, just finished a really close game which went to and fro and our team won in the end after about 1 hours battling i think!!!
Sound wise and graphically i think this is really top notch and a good alternative to the all out carnage of COD, this game actually makes you feel part of a squad and more so part of a war which is ace as although i love COD to bits the teamwork side doesn't match this.
Really great stuff, can't wait for the full release!!!!!!
