Improved from Last Year but some bad points

| | See all CheapSeller's reviews (24)

Everything in my opinion has improved this year. The first thing I noticed was how improved the commentary on the game had changed also the weather is much better so you can be playing in heavy rain or the pitch is covered in snow. Practice Matches and the Set Peice creator have been added to the Arena. The bad points for me is the passing and the players all seem the same speed! Manager Mode is improved aswell and you dont seem to play the same players all of the time because their rating goes down (like Adidas Live Season last year) EA are a bit tight this year because they make you pay for the Live Season.

Fifa 10 is the best Fifa i have ever played, the graphics and the way they have made everything is brilliant, a big move from Fifa 09. A must buy!

  Still on top

i used to be a great fan of pro evo up until about 3 years ago ever since the xbox360 and the ps3 have been out fifa has been king of football games, the flow of the game is brilliant there is so much to do , be a pro, manager mode, plus all the teams are licensed which is a major downfall for its rival. also a great game for if you got some mates round and just want to have a laugh. Great game and gets a 5 out of 5 from me , cant wait for fifa 11 they just get better every year ....

How can people criticise criticize this game ?

it fools me how people can criticize this game. Too easy up the difficulty level, tackling and the balls goes one way ?
does it ive never experienced that people just need to look beyond the screen and take into consideration that there a tactics to get the ball into the net so try some, invent your own.
overall an amazing game to keep the boredom at bay and hope fifa 11 is as good if not better than this one

At its best its awesome but at its worst it drives you insane its ridiculous, im hoping for a huge improvement for fifa 11 because really there isnt much difference between 09 and 10. Read redblueblur's review he summed it up perfectly.

  Games good,but.....

There are alot of good aspects of this game,Quick freekicks, fluent skills and the shooting takes some getting used to, the passing can be exceedingly annoying and some other minor things, a reccomended game for any football fan, consider playing the demo to see for yourself. :D

  Fifa 10

Overall, Fifa 10 is a good game, despite what many people say, it has improved gameplay from FIFA 09, Not greatly, but it has improved enough for it to be noticeable. The gameplay is more realistic, as it is more difficult to score compared to other FIFA's and other Football games out there. The depth of gameplay is good, with game modes such as BE A PRO: SEASONS, which can be one of the more challenging modes, as well as one of the most rewarding if you use your own created Virtual Pro.

So, everything's looking great for FIFA 10 so far...

The Commentary is actually awful, I cannot comment on other commentaries, other than English, but that commentary is awful. It's pretty much the FIFA 09 Commentary, just down graded. It's not that it says stupid things, it's that it says things which definitely aren't true, such as telling me "You're most likely to concede when you've scored, but they've done the opposite and scored again" When I get a 1 goal lead. The Commentary is ridiculously bad.

Also, the game is too stop start, the way free kicks can be so easily given away without using a slide tackle is a joke. You can't use any strength to muscle a player away from the ball, or it's a free kick, you can't get a good passage of play going, and there are usually never less than 10/15 free kicks per game.

However, these downsides are overruled by how good the in-game play is, so I give it 4 stars out of 5, A good game, with some annoyances which I hope EA Sports can sort before FIFA 11 is released with the same problems.

Good but what has changed, Really!

I do like playing Fifa 2010, but i feel like im just playing Fifa 2009 or even 2008. Nothing really has changed over the years, thinking back to the first Fifa i ever bought back in 1994, yes a lot has changed but the past few years it seems like EA Sports are running out of ideas of how to make this game better, minor tweaks are un-noticeable in my eyes, i feel like 2011 needs to have something major changed, take a risk. I still play this game quite often, but doesnt get the juices flowing, and it never did!
