This game is very worth while, especially for a fan of Strategy games or of The Lord Of the Rings in general, its perfect if your a fan of both, like me.
Its very fun, quite challenging, and never really gets boring.
If your interested in achieveing gamerscore points/achievements however then this isnt the best choice.
the game itself is a good game i have played it a couple of times and and have enjoyed my self, i f you have bought the first game u will love it but the orginal charactors have gone so thats why im not so keen but apart from that a very nice game, even with the charactors missing i would bye the game over again.a perfect game for people who love stratergy games.
This game offers some interesting gameplay, and a lot of thought in order to win effectively. Or you could keep clicking A on whatever comes nearest and butcher through.
Took a while to get used to the buttons, then enjoyed it more of course!! Graphics are okay, could be better for this console. Sound is excellent at first, gets a tad repetitive, get music going in the background!
Good first time through, some fun second time to collect whichever achievements you missed first time. After that, not sure this is a long-term game to return to over and over and over....
RTS games are not for all tastes, but at £15 this is a gamble worth taking. I hoped it would be okay but had no idea it would be so beautifully rendered in the style of production Artist Alan Lee's paintings. The soundtrack from the movies is great; the vocal cast, including Hugo Weaving, is superb. However, the best thing about it is the playability. Chances are you'll whip through the earlier levels, but by the time you get to the penultimate level (Ereborn) on the Good campaign, it's so good you'll have to keep playing until you defeat the forces of evil. And for those who spend more time snacking than they should, rest assured this game is so good, you'll forget to eat. 10/10.
