yer its repetitive but its original and class it has wicked storyline that follows the tv program also the on-line play gets frustrating cos its hard... but just keep practising and remember naruto owns.

Looks great but is very repetitive.

The game looks almost exactly like the cartoon and the ability to get the original Japanese cast is a great bonus to people who don't watch the edited westernised version.

The problem is (and this is a major problem) is just how boring it gets fighting the same five villains over and over between boss battles.

Graphics amazing, gameplay not so much.

The only thing it is missing is the 4th Hokage

  the best so far

This is the best naruto game out, so far. The free roam element is great and you can interact with the villagers to undertake various tasks, although there isn't much variety to them and get repetitive quite quickly. The graphics are really smooth and if you're running it on a good quality set the vibrant colours and cel shading will please :) the story isn't that long and unless you've seen the anime it'll probably confuse you as you have to fill in most of it yourself. The 'duel mode' is quite good fun too, especially online but there isn't any replay value to the main bulk of the game...unless you're one of those people who likes to complete all the little side quests, finding all the hidden items etc. Oh and like the reviewer 2 below me i also have encountered the freezing problem, it really does put you off playing after a while which is disapointing :/

The 4th star on this is purely because of the price. Broken bond is out soon but ultimate ninja storm is also out soon on the ps3, so if you own one of those as well you might wanna wait for that as it's tipped to be the best naruto game yet!

  Great game!

First off, for anyone who says "Naruto shouting 'Believe it!' every 5 seconds is really annoying"; there is a way round it. If you're like me and prefer Japanese audio and English subtitles, or just want to rest your ears from "Believe it!", you can go to the Xbox Live Exclusive Content on the game's main menu and download the Japanese Voices for free. If that hadn't been available this game would've got 3 stars from me because I much prefer to read subtitles than listen to a corny american dub...
But still, this is a great game for any Naruto fan. You have freedom to roam the village and do quests and missons when you like.
Graphics look brilliant on a 42" HD Samsung but sadly not as well on a 17" scart tv. But they still do the trick.
Overall a great game!

  annoying freezes

| | See all kumaSan's reviews (4)

first off i have to say that this is one of the best naruto games ive played so far however wen i roam around in the forest i would get hit by a trap and the game will freeze and no button i press would work. i get quite frustrated at times since it nearly happens every half and hour of play.

  Good Game

If you are a Naruto fan, this game is a must buy!

Its graphics are ok for a cartoon game. The game is too short and easy to complete. All the characters are there up until the end of the tournament.

If you are looking for a little fun in the Naruto world, buy this game
