Top 100  Reviewer Top 100 Games Reviewer

This is a game ive been waiting to try out for a while like Gears of War etc. It definately packs a dark edge but its teeth arent too sharp in the end...

From the first opening cutscene/action scene its jaw dropping compared to some of the latest games in terms of graphics. Tenchu etc look futile compared to this. Definately heading up along the lines of Gears of War (sorry to mention it so much but its a benchmark).

One thing i have noticed is the slight jitter in the graphics every so often, aint sure why but ive noticed it maybe 3 times in the last 20 minutes on the graveyard section.

Aside from this, the framerate is fast enough for a great action packed game, wielding dual pistols is allways a bonus for me and its fun on this game.

1 let down is the "bad-guy" animations, they seem a little quirky and the fact you can pump them full of led or pull a headshot off and yet they still get up....Confusing and frustrating sometimes.

The darkness powers are what realy shines in this game, otherwise it would be a good solid FPS instead of the Great FPS it is. Although 1 or 2 of the darkness powers are a pain to use, the little snake one especially, it adds another dimension to the gameplay.

Story telling, well that can be a little fast paced and then confusing at times, personaly i knew the background story of the game or at least what it was about, but to the average gamer whos not heard of this, at times it will be a little bit daunting if you miss a cut-scene.

Overall, the game is definately one of the top FPS games on the 360, the developer of the Riddick game have again created a fantastic game, although not ground breaking as some would have expected following their previous game, its still a solid and extremely fun outing and will fill the gap in the FPS range until Bio-shock arives....

 Ignoring the multiplayer bit!

This is a fantastic FPS, I'm not normally a fan but this is fantastic. Great story, and everything links in so well together. Still playing the game and had it for two weeks now. Never heard of the comics before but they've done a great job transferring this over to a FPS. Also like the phone numbers you can find which give you bonus items. As my title says, I've ignored the multiplayer part of the game as it has no enjoyment and seems pointless. I'm not bothered about the multiplayer in this game anyway, not sure why you would want it, much better as single player. That's why I've still given it 5 stars. Get it now and enjoy!!!

 Top Notch Game.

Really pleased when i finished this game. It feels alot like Starbreeze Studios,The Chronicles of Riddick games. Based on a Top Cow comic book you play as Jackie Estacado seeking revenge against your sinister Uncle Paulie. Along the way you will travel back and meet your ancestors who also posessed the darkness. The powers you obtain are pretty cool as well like the Creeping Dark, Demon Arms and more. The ending is tense and powerful and it would be a shame if you missed out on this gem. I highly recommend buyin this game now.
