At first when I heard about this game coming out without Jordan (by Buckethead) wasn't in the game, I was totally uninterested and didn't even think about getting it. Then one day i realised that there were no games i wanted to buy when I was looking for a new game. My friend had been telling me to get this game for a while so I thought I'd just get it. I havn't stopped playing it since i got it. The main problem with every guitar hero or rock band game is that 70% of the songs you don't like or most of the songs are boring. Every song in this game is extremely entertaining and fun to play.

Xbox Live play is very good as they have brought back Battles and added new things to that.

Possibly my favourite guitar hero/rock band game. In my opinion it's a must buy. Oh, well, I gotta go as im dying to go play this fantastic game XD

  Awesome.

This Game Is Very Good. Ok The Songs May Not Be The Greatest Songs Ever , But They Didnt Just Create This One For The Guitar.
Expert Plus Difficulty Certainly Brings A Whole New Challenge. And Yes Admittedly They Have Made Many Of The Guitar Parts Easier But Some They Have Certainly Made A Lot Harder

Great Game!

Charging full price for the same songs is pathetic, drum support isnt enough in my opinion.

Good game BUT Guitar Hero is now being ruined.

First of all, let's start with the game... It has some, not all of of the Greatest Hits from Guitar Hero games on this paticular game. The game isnt very popular and when I play online on Xbox LIVE nobody seems to ever want to play online. I used to love Guitar Hero but as soon as RockBand hit the stores I went out and bought it, and what a great decision that was! RockBand is much more fun and hardcore rhythm game style. If you're looking for family gaming then Guitar Hero World Tour is the game for you, unfortunately Guitar Hero are releasing too many games at the moment! Guitar Hero World Tour, Guitar Hero Metallica, Guitar Hero Greatest Hits and soon to be coming are Guitar Hero Van Halen and Guitar Hero 5!

Great game, not as good as metallica

First off, this is a great game dont get me wrong, some songs are really fun to play, but some are really easy and boring. This is not as good as metallica, every song on that game was fun to play and had solos everywhere! They have changed the charts for most the songs so your not paying money for stuff you have already played and it supports the full band too. Some of the achievements are hard so there is lots of re-playability going on :D

why did they have to mess with the songs?

I got this early because like every GH game it's region free so I chose to import it. It's a good game and new fans will like it as the controls are as smooth as ever, hammer-ons and pull-offs work great but you have to ask yourself are these songs really the greatest of the lot? - No + they have made the songs REALLY easy to play. Put it this way - You can play free bird with one hand for about 3 mins and I can do the intro to through the fire and flames on Hard with my Big Toe because of all them stupid strung together slider notes - not impressed :(
