YOU REALLY HAVE TO BYE IT FOR THE KIDS OR ADULTS AND A

I know this sounds nerdy but I am a very experienced all around gamer, I've completed need for speed most wanted and that takes at least some skill so I know about racing games. This game is extremely difficult for kids and I would not recommend it atall. For a start theres a glitch where it only lets whoever clicks the memory at the start of the game get the achievements so if your playing multi player prepare to be annoyed. Secondly your bombarded by the merciless AI as you get rammed up the walls and smashed by projectile missiles 24/7, Thirdly it says there are 18 levels, this is false as there and 9 and 9 of them in reverse so its kind of a rip iff. There are 4 classes as in most kart games, 50cc, 100cc, 150cc and 200cc. To be honest I've smashed my controller off the floor many times trying to beat 150cc and 200cc championships because its that hard. And I'm 21 and have been gaming all of my life. ( If you / your kid just wants to race sticking it on 50cc quick race is your best option). In my opinion you should save yourself some money and get dreamworks kartz as there is no difficulty option in this and it is constantly set to stupidly hard frustration mode. Or in my case Rage Mode.
