  1.  Continuation of a cult game

    Posted:

As a staunch Guitar Hero 2 fan, trying to remain calm whilst the American public get their grubby mitts on this game a month before us europeans is slightly frustrating.
However, having played the demo and read up on the game's ins and outs, i can see that this will be as good as the first and second editions.

For anyone who played GH2 on the 360, i can confirm this game is slighlty more forgiving, especially when it comes to nailing those solos. Hammer-ons and pull-offs are much more fluent, but to perfect those levels, takes a special sort of player.

The graphics are nice, but the main fretboard that you see the notes on, are far more detailed than the last instalment.

Add to that the online modes, downloadable content and boss battles with original solos written by Slash and Tom Morello for the game, we're in for another great game this winter.
