  1.  Great to hear

    Posted:

Fantastic to hear Thomas Dolby making music again, after too many years away.

Oceania (with Eddie Reader) is so haunting.

I expect to play this album just as much as I did all the old ones.

  2.  Become a star with a reasonably-priced guitar.

Good fun, perhaps a little odd for seasoned guitarists, as it doesn't use a recognised music notation so the main obstacle is learning theirs, but its a good laugh.

  3.  Too small for headphone with iPhone 4

This fits the iPhone 4 OK, but not when the headphone plug is inserted

  4.  Fantastic collection

    Posted:

A great "Greatest Hits" collection, featuring the best known tracks from all his albums (apart from the last, Map Of The Floating City, which was released in Nov 2011).

"The Singular Thomas Dolby" has more tracks, this is the distilled version.

  5.  Fantastic Movie

Just an amazingly skilful film, if the opening sequence doesn't touch you then you have a heart of stone.

Pixar's most mature work to date (but not in any way that means kids won't enjoy it)

    "Squirrels!"

  6.  Fantastic game

    Posted:

    Nintendo at its finest-

My only slight criticism is that it is quite similar to Galaxy 1, but that is a little churlish as that game itself was so innovative.

  7.  Good bit of kit

Well made bit of hardware for the price,

Rock Band 3 is a bit limited in how many keyboard tunes are available (and you need to repurchase deluxe versions of some old ones you may have to get the "pro" parts for them) but the keyboard itself is good.

I really like the fact it has a real midi output socket too, so you can use it with real synth modules.
