  1.  High speed transfer.

Price: I have been keeping track of this particular Micro SDHC card for a while and when the price dipped to 54.99GBP I took the opportunity to purchase it. Since then I notice that the price has gone up again, so it was a timely purchase.

Delivery: Ordering and delivery was smoothless (ordered on 22/03/2011 and arrived on the doorstep on 28/03/2001).

Usage: I already have a 16GB card in my HTC Desire and required more memory. The Class 10 speed was not a strict requirement, but makes data transfer much faster. There are no compatibility issues with the HTC Desire and am happily using the card at the moment. For those who like to root the phone and so such things, I've partitioned the card using ROM Manager and am currently using Oxygen 2.0.1 with an sd-ext partition and there are no problems using the card.

Data transfer speed: I used h2testw v1.4 to test the card and the results are given below:

Warning: Only 30522 of 30523 MByte tested.
    Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
    Writing speed: 10.3 MByte/s
    Reading speed: 16.1 MByte/s
    H2testw v1.4

For what it's worth I used the Micro SDHC card reader that came with the card on my laptop, which is running Windows Vista. As you can see, the write speed matches the Class 10 specification.

I was not able to achieve the same write speed then writing the contents of the old card (which was first copied to my laptop) to the new card using the card reader on the laptop. I only achieved around 5MByte/s, or thereabouts. This is probably due to the smaller file sizes compared with the file sizes used by h2testw.

    Hope this helps.
