MX Vs. ATV: Alive

It's quite early to give this game a review but after playing it for nearly 2 days straight I would say it's good. I like the fact you don't get knocked off your bike easy like on reflex. I can see that it has alot of potential, you just have to give this game some time to get used to it.I don't like the new jump control. You have to click in your right analogue stick and pull back now to get big air. Also when you jump and your going off track, you seem to lag in a way!!! and your bike comes back on course. WEIRED!! They've also made it so you have to use your cluctch alot more to get any kind of drive out of the corners. All in all I think THQ have tried to make it more user friendly for people who haven't played the title before. Give it time!!! But for now, NOT as good as reflex.

This game is the best motocross game currently on the market in my opinion. You have so much control over the bike its brilliant. Don't get me wrong, it's very hard to get use to at first, but once you've mastered the reflex control you will have hours of fun.
My only down side to this game is the online waiting area. It can take a very long time for a game to start because of people coming in and out of the arena. Everytime they do this it takes 25 seconds for there bike sttings to load up.Plus sometime you get stuck on the starting gate frozen, watching all the others go off infront. Then when you do start you get half way through the race and it'll quit back to the arena because the others have finished the race. That happens far too much and ruins what would be a 10 out of 10 game.

I would say this game is a vast improvement on FN3, The new punch control system is fantastic now that you can use the buttons aswell, I could never get on with the analogue sticks. Graphics 10/10. Actual game play and story mode 9/10. Should have been longer. My personal opinion is that they made beating FROST far to hard. Even on amature. A must buy game.
