  1.  Max brings 100% Payne! Single Player - *Spoiler Free*

I've finished the campaign and I have to say it's brilliant, very gripping. Max has a very dark story, but you can still expect great dry humor and witty comebacks from him. There will be a lot of surprises and shocks as you go through the story. James McCaffrey does a fantastic job voicing Max Payne, and the other cast do a brilliant job too. The visuals are beautiful, my personal favorite being the Favela. It's gorgeous and very well created. Character models are highly detailed and the physics of enemies dying never gets old. Each kill is unique depending on the weapon(s) you use and the distance you're shooting from. They've kept it more realistic in terms of what you can carry in this third game. Max can carry two side arms (SMGs, revolvers, pistols) and one two handed gun (shotguns, rifles, LMGs). In the previous games you could carry as many guns as you wanted to. Though no baseball bats, crowbars, molotov cocktails, planks of wood and what not this time round. Which is a shame as you could in the first two. Going into Bullet Time is pure fun and I wish I had unlimited! It's great to watch too. All the details. The flash at the muzzle, the bullet/shell cases slowly flying out the side of your gun(s) and so on. Last Kill cam is a great feature. You can slow it down and you don't have to let go of the trigger until they hit the floor, or if you run out of ammo you can hear a 'click' sound. Everyone would agree that this is a very violent game. You see blood squirt out each time a bullet/shell goes into an enemy. Not many games have holes in the body when you shoot someone, but Max Payne 3 does. It's especially gory when you use Last Kill cam! Last and certainly not least I give a big cheer for Health, the band who did the official soundtrack. It's nothing short of amazing! Every track fits perfectly with the game. This is a superb third person shooter with a long campaign worthy of the price tag. One of the best you will see this year and of recent years. It has a very strong chance at Game Of The Year. This will probably be my top single player campaign of 2012.

  2.  Epic Games have blown us away! Stunning! (understatement)

I got my copy at launch night and didn't go to bed until 5am. that's how awesome and addictive this game is!

So pleased the game was held back, it was worth the wait. The graphics are gorgeous as we expect from Epic Games. They went for a more smoother look to the eye candy this time, which I really like! I love the controls, a lot. Very fast and fluid, not clunky one bit. Experienced players will thrive on them. There's much more blood and language then before! Also all our favourite weapons and executions are here with so many more added. Why is there always an option to turn off the gore and language? That's the point of the game, violence lol. Quite a handful of new characters have been put into the mix which I love too.

Horde 2.0... I am a junkie like you wouldn't believe. This totally blows the original design out of the way. Including the Silverback, there's so many upgrades and leveling up to be done. Loads of character skins to be unlocked as you rank up and complete challenges. I can spend hours on this mode, my favourite and first thing I played once it was installed. Awesome Co-Op experience. Better if you play with people that actually use the mic that came in the box. So many non talkers out there! Co-Op means team work, communication.

Beast Mode. Only 12 waves, but really fun. You might respect the Locust after you've completed this mode on insane like me. They really are fun characters/monsters to control. The Cog put you up agaist their best upgrades as you complete waves with your team mates, brilliant stuff.

Vs Matches. There's a whole bunch to pick from. Gears 3 caters for everyone!

Campaign. Bigger, better. If you've played GoW 1 & 2 (who hasn't) then after you finish the third it really does feel like a massive ride of a story. To me this was the most emotional and biggest out of the three. Really does feel like a blockbuster gaming experience.

There's no denying that Gears of War 3 is one of the biggest games of the year and on the Xbox 360 to date. Makes owning one all the sweeter.

P.S: Please ignore user's commets 'gremis' - Gears of War isn't a first person shooter.

  3.  They're all going to burn for what they did to him...

I love the first game, but I have to say 'Dead Space 2' has improved on everything...

    + Great story
    + Improved animations and graphics
+ Main character talks and you see his face this time!
    + Very believable voice actors
+ Scripted action sequences are awesome
+ Zero-G is amazing, especially in space. Instead of jumping from A to B you use thrusters to control your movement
+ More weapons and previous ones are included
    + Interesting characters
+ Really like the way all levels flow into one
    + more monster variety
+ They amped up the blood, gore and guts!
+ Will make you jump and freak you out as much as the first
+ No annoying/hard shooting cannons at the monster/asteroids

    - Power Nodes are far too expensive and rare for the amount of weapons and equipment you need to upgrade.

    * For best experience play this game in the dark, with no lights on while wearing headphones!

  4.  "Impressive. Most impressive..."

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, I saw the originals on TV when I was a kid. Yes, Lucas has tinkered with them again. We didn't expect him not to as he's done it with every release. Though once the moment has passed you may or may not move past it. I think I managed to as I was gazed at what was happening on screen next. Perfect picture quality, stunning. My hat's off to them for making the originals look this good. They amped the sound up to 6.1 DTS-HD-MA and 5.1 Dolby Digital. If you have a great external sound setup with a beefy subwoofer it's the perfect way to enjoy this saga. Some might not be able to swallow what Lucas has done to the fans. I myself haven't, it still gets caught going down, but Star Wars has never looked and sounded this amazing. It will blow you away.

  5.  Perfect player for anyone

I don't have anything bad to say about this player. I bought mine in June 2010 when I converted to Blu-Ray (after seeing an Avatar sample being played I was sold) and I've loved it since.

+ Will play all audio CDs, Blu-Rays and DVDs. Here in the UK the film would have to be Region 2 or Region Free. I've read people have had problems with other brands/models playing certain films, but no playback problems here.

+ It's 3D ready, so if and when you get a 3D TV, depending if the fad takes off and if you want to watch 3D films then you won't have a problem.

+ Very easy to setup. Menus etc are very easy to navigate.

+ Stunning picture and audio quality. Plently of ports for an external sound system too.

+ Upscales DVDs, so if like me you're only into buying the action/CGI Blu-Ray films at the moment then this is perfect.

+ Very stylish and slim. Not bulky at all.

+ If you have a Sony TV (like me) it's so simple to have both remotes operate the TV.

+ 2 USB ports for playing video films and looking at pictures. One on the front and one on the back.

+ LAN port, so you can plug an internet cable in the back of the unit if in the future you want to give it a Firmware update or want to watch BD Live on certain films. This connection also means you can stream videos online such as: BBC iPlayer, Love Film and YouTube, films, TV series and music to name a few.

BD Live, Gracenote, Divx HD, DVD Video, Super Audio CD, Compact Disc Digital Audio, Dolby True HD, DTS-HD Master Audio.

  6.  Best Spoof ever done to date. Hilarious!

This is a perfect blend of Family Guy humour and a real treat if you love Star Wars too. I've been into Star Wars since I was a kid and I found this totally funny. Probably the best spoof ever done in my opinion. I heard George Lucas and Co almost died laughing at Skywalker Ranch! I'm so pleased he signed off on this. Hopefully we'll see a Star Wars prequel spoof or Indiana Jones in the near future.

    * If you haven't seen the original Star Wars trilogy I would highly advise seeing them before you think about watching this or you won't find it nowhere near as funny as people like me do.

  7.  More original cast. Very fun film!

Summary: Brian O'Conner, now working for the FBI in LA, teams up with Dominic Toretto to bring down a heroin importer by infiltrating his operation.

    + Very entertaining.

    + Vin Diesel is back.

    - Way too much obvious CGI for a Fast & Furious film.

    - Some of the stunts/action scenes are silly, over the top and not possible, which can ruin the experience of a film based around cars.

  8.  Awesome animated entertainment from Pixar!

Summary: The toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.

This is the first animated film on Blu-Ray I've bought, and like this all animations must look flawless. It has a great story and some very cool and interesting characters. Also a good twist! I have to say I think it was close to getting a PG rating. A little dark in places for a U. If you have little kids, watch it with them to the end. Very entertaining and funny stuff.

  9.  "Hulk...SMASH!"

Summary: Dr. Bruce Banner, thanks to a gamma ray experiment gone wrong, transforms into a giant green-skinned hulk whenever his pulse rate gets too high. Meanwhile, a soldier uses the same technology to become an evil version of the original.

This is an improvement on every level:

+ Intimidating Hulk who's around 9-10 feet tall, not a giant-giant playdough man that glows.

+ A formidable opponent, Abomination. Not three mutant poodles and jumped up dad who adapts to everything he touches.

+ They didn't make a long story and drag it out.

This looks and sounds beautiul on Blu-Ray. A must have!

  10.  One of the best Superhero sequels that's been made

Summary: Because of his superhero alter ego, Tony Stark must contend with deadly issues involving the government, his own friends and new enemies.

The sequel everyone wanted! Again, Robert Downey Jr plays his role as Tony Stark to perfection. Sarcastic, charming, funny, witty and brilliant. As you'd expect from the way "Iron Man" finished we get to see War Machine and what he does best, destroy. Don Cheadle who plays Rhodey does a brilliant job. The introduction to Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, is a great add on. Sexy, smart and she can handle herself. Mickey Rourke who plays the villian - Ivan Vanko/Whiplash, does an awesome job.

More action then the original, beautiful picture. Nominated for a Visual Effects Oscar (you'll see why) and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. A darker tone than "Iron Man", still has great humour and witt as you'd expect. This is an awesome viewing experience.

A must own for any Iron Man/comic/action fan.
