Midnight Club: Los Angeles

This is a very good game, not brilliant but there isnt much better on the PS3, plays a lot like test drive unlimited on the 360 but in an LA setting and with much smoother crisper graphics. Only really comes alive when you open up the better faster cars but it is fun getting there. Fair AI adds to the realism, your opponents will crash and spin without any help from you and will make mistakes or take a wrong turn during races. Overall very good and well worth the £20 it is going for in some online stores, but just not quite Race Driver Grid standard...

Please do not be taken in by the in game movies that show on the tv or the occasional good graphics, this game is not worth your hard earned cash, I rushed out and purchased this at full price, having watched and loved the film (just like I did with the Transformers game) and both times I have regretted buying a movie licenced game. Close up the graphics are very poor, the game is tedius in the extreme and in later levels the ai throws so many enemies at you at once you have no idea of where you are, which way you are facing or what the actual objective is. Controls are clunky, the cut scenes are atrocious and the game gets soooo boring, please buy GTA4 or COD4 if you want to shoot things without throwing away £40.

Got this as I loved the film, looks great for the first few minutes then you realise that it is the same all the way through, drive a bit (poorly) punch or throw something and drive some more. It really is the most repetitive game I have ever played and is far too hard for younger gamers to play, you cant walk past a building without it crumbling. Even if you are a massive fan of transformers... When you compare the amount of contentin this to a title like Drakes Fortune or Assassins Creed you realise just how bad this really is.. please avoid this and get lego star wars instead, its soooo much better.

Gameplay, Controls, Graphics, Plot, everything about this game is quality, yes it can get a bit tedious but there is so much to see and so many ways to do things it never ceases to amaze. From the first time you hear the birds squawk after climbing the hgighest tower, to baling off to the ground it is an experiance like absolutely nothing on any console, and dont get me started on the character movement, its fluid and realistic, even more so when you get to mount a horse and visit other towns on the absolutelu huuuuuge playing area. If you want something to show off the beauty of next gen then get this, it will keep you hooked for days, weeks, and months. the mooted sequel should be fantastic. At this price get it while you can.. you will not be dissapointed.

Ridge Racer 2
Top graphics and sound a whole host of different tracks to master (saome old and familiar, some new) this is Ridge Racer the way you remember it, fast, very slidy and a whole lot of fun. This is one series of game I never get bored with. Recommended.
