  1.  A Worthy Read

Enjoyed the book but without analysing it too much, would a man really change his ways for love? Maybe in the interim, but not long term. The plot reminded me a little of nine and a half weeks.

Any how, great book, same story line as many chick lit fantasy novels. Worthy of a read.

  2.  A must read

A story of one mans journey (Marlow) up the Congo River set in the late 19th Century in the midst of Imperialism and Colonialism. In the style of a frame narrative it is written like a metaphoric jungle, dark and mysterious leading Marlow to question his own sanity of mind while travelling to the inner station to meet the infamous Kurtz. A tenuous journey depicting the darkness of slavery, imperialism and the unknown, based on Conrads own experiences and inspiration for the film Apocolypse Now. A must read.

  3.  Refreshing

A refreshing change in dialogue to other books. When I first started reading the book I found it difficult to get into as it is written as though it were narrated by a child. The sentences do not always make sense so at the beginning I had to re-read a few. But open your mind and once you get used to the way it is written the story unfolds to be one of survival, betrayal and friendship as we follow Willo in his search for his family. Would recommend to all ages.

  4.  Excellent Read

Loved the book, had me right from the beginning. Easy to read. Was a little disappointed at how we were in the midst of the story and suddenly we jumped to an ending. Most definately worth a read though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. Shape Shifters and the Sicilian Mafia, it grips you and tells the story through one girls eyes. Excellent read, would recommend.

A warming gentle plot, a perfect read for either those lazy days in the sun, or curled up in the warm on a dark cold evening.

  7.  Couldn't put it down!

An excellent read. I couldn't put it down, finding I wanted to read 'just one more chapter' which ending up finishing the book in two evenings. The only disappointment was the hurried ending because I wanted the story to continue! Will definately be looking out for Paige's books again. Well recommended.
