Duke Nukem Forever

If the cheap price doesnt make you smile then the game certainly will. What a laugh! The game is a must with its varied gameplay and mini games and even the Mrs sat with me watching the Dukes antics unfold. I must warn you that if like me you have a 52" 1080P LCD that you play the games on then "close the blinds" as a neighbour with her young son was not amused at the animated booby images on display as she walked past haha. Its a great "geeza" game that I would highly recommend for a laugh with your mates or erm........wife.

This game is a must for hardcore RFOM grim reapers and new fans alike! Part 2 drifted off course slightly and was indeed a surprise but now we are back on track with Part 3. There is your expected stand up battles with the Chimera and at times tense gameplay that scared the Mrs out of the room with its eerie atmospheric feel as if your in the middle of a horror film at certain points. I took part in the Beta online play and agree with earlier posts that the multiplayer element has caused some frustration but still very enjoyable. You may think the games too short, so, get stuck in with Superhuman mode once unlocked or maybe co-op with a friend. Its a great game that you can indeed revisit and forget you were supposed to help the wife with the shopping! Ooops!

Every now and then I like to look through the back catalogue of games that Play may have on special offer to get me away from COD or RFOM and time to time there are some real steals to be picked up here! This is certainly well worth 1p short of a tenner any day of the week and could not put the control down once I began the game, however! It was all over by the end of the day sadly with three different endings to be enjoyed and many grim like creatures pinched from RFOM wasted behind me. I agree with earlier reviews and should be played on the hardest difficulty or just whiz through and blast away. Highly recommend this adventure in first person time travel and particularly at the very low price "big time".
