  1.  Worth having

If you're like myself who was a huge Maiden fan but lost touch when Bruce left then this is ideal. It links up the best tracks from the later albums and gives a good insight into what Maiden have done since No Prayer for the Dying. The majority of these tracks are favourites of the live shows so if you're planning on catching a Maiden show anytime soon this will help whet your appetite.

  2.  Timeless Tireless Maiden

First thoughts were "another Live Maiden album" after seeing the documentary Flight 666 I had to buy it and to be fair it doesn't disappoint.
Steve Harris distinctive rolling bass , Nickos gruelling drums and Bruces immensely strong voice again whip the crowrds to a frenzy on this album.
All the older classics are there plus some newer ones such as Fear of the Dark which on this album is one of their all time great live performances. Id go close to saying this rivals Live after Death.
If you're a Maiden fan , buy it . You won't be disappointed

  3.  Buy it , you won't be disappointed

I bought this album on the recommendation of a friend with similar taste in music. He simply said if you like guitars and rock music then this won't disappoint you.
I couldn't tell you any of the song names apart from American Slang as it normally gets played in the car or in the gym but it is a belter. If you want to get into a new band then start here with this , then get the 59 sound.
    Brilliant stuff.

  4.  Best £4 I ever spent

I would strongly recommend this compilation to any music fan.
Brayn Adams has written some of the most recognisable and timeless songs ever. This double CD took me on a journey through my life practically from the early hits such as Run to You , Cuts Like a Knife , Heaven etc , when I first started buying music to the more modern hits such as Don't Give Up , Cloud No. 9.
I hadn't heard some of the songs in years but the lyrics came flooding back.
It'd make a great present for someone

  5.  Very pleasantly surprised

I bought this album on the recommendation of a friend who I know has very similar taste in music.
I must admit on the first listen I took some convincing but after a couple of trips in the car I found myself humming some of their tunes.
Wondefully eclectic offering ranging from 80's style to disco and much more.
Even my kids ask me to put it on in the car now.
One of my favourite albums this year without doubt

  6.  Underwater Sunshine

When I heard that the Crows were releasing a compilation of cover versions I thought to myself that they are nearing the end of the road and this would be, a time passer. It took a couple of listens but I think this is a great offering.Ok cover versions are normally left to boybands apart from the odd classic effort but I really rate this album as it puts the Crows inimitable style to these songs. If you're a Crows fan buy it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

  7.  Dexter Season 5

    I absolutely love this series.
It's dark but riddled with razor sharp wit throughout. I remember when this first aired on ITV in the UK I had my doubts but right from the first episode I loved it.
Brilliant characters , brilliant storylines & I have to say brilliant acting. Masuka is painfully funny & there are some heart breaking scenes that would leave you close to tears.
Without doubt one of the best series I have ever watched.
I'd recommend anyone to watch this from the first episode. You won't be disappointed.
