Simon Amstell: Do Nothing Live
20 New from
Simon Amstell better known for Popworld and Never mind the buzzcocks, delivers a very brutal and honest self portrait that leaves you both surprised and in stitches.
Simon pulls no punches when he delves into the disparity of his love life, family life and how having two sinks in his flat is sadder than originally thought.
I bought this DVD as a huge fan of his but even if you're not a fan and are of a socially awkward position or have had bad luck with love, then this really is the DVD for you. He hit on some subjects about longing for love that really hit the nail on the head, which I was not expecting, and it was done in such a way that left me in tears of laughter.
You will not be disappointed, unless you're a gormless Peter Kay fan in which case move along (joke)

Sadly my trusty Microsoft mouse of 8 years came to tragic end and so I had to buy a new mouse to replace it. I saw this on Play and scoured the web for reviews, videos etc after positive feedback from all over I decided to buy this mouse. It's brilliant, super responsive, genius too. The "airmouse" function is developed by the same company that developed the Wii remote only this mouse is even MORE responsive. Super easy to use, no need for the CD manual, just read the little panflet it comes with. Highly reccomend it.

How can Channel 4 let a show like this disappear into obscurity? It's a sin!
I can't think of anything bad to say about this series. It is up there with some of the other great comedies. Personally for me this is the BEST comedy of this side of the millenium. I'll treasure this forever and scold at Channel 4 for snubbing this for crap like "Star Stories and Friday night project"
Buy it and lap up the genius!!
X-Men: Season 1 - Volume 1
I Cannot Describe how happy i am to see my favourite cartoon return in Glorious DVD.
I remember when i first watched this as a teen. I was blown away to finally have a cartoon that didn't patronise me and told a cold and bleak story!
For new comers to the genre this is a great introduction to the world of Mutants. This isn't the highest rated Saturday morning Cartoon for nothing you know LOL
The Stories and Plots are sometimes better than movie plots and ditto the action. It goes from Sweet Christmas stories to bleak and heartbreaking epics (Phoenix Saga, Night of the Sentinel). You also get to see plenty of other mutants which keeps comic book fans like me very happy and giddy :D
The Animation is as good as a Kids show can be and unlike the the other Marvel 90's Cartoons it still stands the test of time.
The irony in all this is that it had 8 million viewers in the US and yet we get it first.
