  1.  Dreadful sound balance

I am not going to give a view on the film because I didn't get through it far enough to comment. I gave up watching because of the dreadful sound balance. I watched it in 5.1 sound with dynamic range equalisation to level out the sound. All of the dialogue seemed as though it was mumbled as if not wanting the audience to hear what the cast were saying to each other. It sounded like the mics were behind the actors when they were speaking. I had to crank the sound right up just to hear the mumbled dialogue and that meant that as soon as any action happened my head was suddenly blown off by the enormous boom, even with dynamic range control set on maximum on my amp.

After half an hour I just had to give up. I don't know if this was done deliberately to give a moody feel but for me it completely ruined the film.

I was watching the blu ray version and have not had any sound issues with any of the many other blu rays I own and have watched.

Sound balance is as crucial as image in film and this was pretty awful.
