  1.  My Favourite New Icelandic Band

I first heard this band on Indie Dependent on NE1fm, and my first listen to 'Little Talks' had me hooked. That was enough to make me want the whole album, and honestly there is not one filler track on it. I can honestly say this is the best Icelandic band I've heard. They have a very original sound. Definitely worth listening to.

  2.  Is the HTC Radar better than the iPhone?

I do not know. I have never used an iPhone. I would however highly recommend the HTC Radar. The Radar is one of the first devices to use Windows 7 and a half. It is a pioneer and ground breaker. For this I respect it.

Not only does it look svelte but it feels splendid. It is like holding a slab of silver in your hands and therefore it feels reassuringly weighty but not so weighty that it weighs down your leather manbag. Heavens no. This little beauty is a mere 11mm thick unlike its tubbier cousin Titan.

The phone places an emphasis on minimalism. Look at it. Like Jedward it screams understatement. It does not jump out seeking attention but it is very stylish. I am not saying I am a fashion expert.

If you are interested, the Radar has an SLCD screen, a Qualcomm MSM 8255 system on chip with a 1Ghz Scorpion processor and Adreno 205 GPU. If you are not interested I sincerely apologise.

The phone comes with various apps one of them being HTC Hub which provides you with weather readings of your area and allows you to add other cities so you can see what you have been missing since returning from the south of France.

Call quality is decent and the sound quality on the phones speaker is also rather good. Another great thing about the phone is that it is clever. Do not ask me how but it knows when it is in my pocket and increases its ring volume accordingly. It likewise reduces its ring volume when you pick it up. Very nifty.

But for all these fancy features for me it is the battery life that sets it apart. I sometimes return to my charger to find it cloaked in cobwebs. Such is the battery life of the Radar. I get 2 to 3 days usage after a full charge.

Moving on to the less good things about the phone. I have been racking my brains and cannot think of many. I guess as it has an aluminium back it can get quite cold during the winter months. This may bother people that feel the cold. Also there is no way to access the battery. This could however be perceived as a good thing especially for people that regularly mislay things. I for one would lose my mobile phone battery if it was not screwed in.

Overall the HTC Radar is the best phone I have personally ever had in the history of my life. The top draw performance and aesthetics will make it very appealing to most people. I urge you to invest. At this price you cannot go wrong. I have not been paid to say this.
