I love tony and his work. I really enjoyed the very underrated Rebel, but the punch and judy man was a dark and misjudged piece of writing that Tony should never had made. Obviously he could never shake the talk that this movie was a commentry of his own marriage, He wrote alot of this film while he was drinking and no matter which way you look at it, it was this film that finished his all to short film career. He acted majestically however and its worth owning just for the Rebel alone, Tony proved he could act aswell as he did in his earlier and ony serious dramatic role in Gogol's the government inspector. Funny though it is not. It ius sad to think that Tony could not be stopped from making this movie. The rebel by contrast shines, watch that one and marvel at Hancocks perspicuity (it doesn't matter what it is as long as you marvel at it)
