I have a problem....
The PC is in one corner of the room and the TV in the other. The overall range between the two devices is around 7 metres but its not cost effective for a cable.
It would of cost me around 55-80 Pounds for a 35 metre HDMI Cable so I chose this device for the solution.
I must admit that the concept is enticing and the product works over super short distances but even at 7-8m away it had a 3/6 bar signal.
I tired it for a few moments during the set up phase and it was impressive seeing my screen wirelessly on the TV but that was short lived. During 720p playback of media I noticed a lot of stuttering yet the signal was "GREAT". I checked the settings and enabled video playback optimisation of which did nothing.
I decided on actually sitting down to watch something but as soon as my children so much as moved from the couch the picture and sound broke up due to interference.
This device proves worthy of a short and cheap solution for some but lacks what its actually supposed to do,
