  1.  3D works well at home...

The anaglyph glasses (red/green) work well. It does a couple of the jump out of the screen moments, but where it really shines is the incredible depth in each scene. A properly calibrated projector / screen is crucial. Stand out effects are the simple ones such as dust and dirt on the car windscreen

  2.  Highly under-rated

In my opinion, this is probably the best super hero movie, without any of the usual super hero fluff that dates them so quickly. This film will be just as evocative in 20 years time as it is today, because it doesnt rely on, socko, pow, bam, ker-powey super hero conventions, and instead shows that in all of us, we have the ability to be super.
Willis just plays this with such under-stated cool, and i think this film shows mr night in a far better light than 6th and signs. Of course, this is the man that gave us the village and the happening, but he is only human, and after three big hits, you have to trip at some point. Lady in the water was meant to be the film that heralded that fall from grace, but if you watch that, you actually get to see him tell a really nice unique story, expertly. Shame it died a death at the b.o.
But unbreakable is, in my opinion, his best, fully rounded film that deserves repeated viewings. It has a great cast, a great story and night just allows the film to take you with it, each and every step of the way.
Its neither flashy or in your face, and whilst there are no real stand out set pieces as such it is consistent throughout... Keeping you on your toes all the while.
Sam jackson is his character, and really gives this good vs evil story some real gravitas! Highly recomended, and again, i personally feel this is the best super hero movie of them all... And not a thread of spandex in sight.

  3.  deserves more stars...

but this crappy DVD comes only in 4:3 letterbox, no anamorphic..... Get the region 1 version instead.
