While Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn doesn't utilise the unique control system of the Nintendo Wii, it is refreshing to play a game without such controls tacked on. I remember a time when you were allowed to sit down and play a game without flailing your arms about...
Fans of the series will rejoice at this fact, returning to the tried and tested control system and playing style. While the graphics are by no means breathtaking, the story is epic and well written and you find yourself becoming emotionally attached to a number of the cast which will have you reaching for the reset button if they are killed in battle.
While this may sound annoying it is never the fault of the game and you realise that you must learn from your mistakes quickly!
If you are looking for a casual pick up and play game this is not it, it eat will eat up hours of your life but you won't want them back, on the contrary you'll find yourself playing through the game again within hours of completion!
