Griffin Survivor Extreme Duty Case for iPhone 4S / 4 / Black
The premise is good, protect that expensive smartphone from dust, rain and bumps. The three part case seems to do most of that fairly well. The rubber port covers are mostly well designed, except for the camera cover that constantly tries to re-cover the port and has to be held out of the way.I dislike the watermark effect between the screen and screen protector, I can't seem to prevent this happening, but you might be luckier. The worst part is the belt clip, When position across the screen the pressure constantly pressed the home button. When across the back, and belt hung, it exposes the screen to knocks and bumps.Irrelevant really, since the brittle plastic clip sheared off on day 3 when I crouched down and pressed the phone with my leg, so I can't belt mount it any more. A shame really because the case does bulk up the phone a lot.Putting the encased phone into my pocket just keeps activating the sensitive raised home button, constantly setting the phone into voice control mode.So I think for now I will go back to my old slimline case unless I will be doing rough stuff and have large roomy pockets to put it in.
