  1.  Not conventional, engrossing

An engrossing and intelligent gay film. It explores levels of reality - truth, real, dream, fantasy; at the same time lookng at the characters' and viewers' relationship with pornorgraphy and voyeurism. Fascinating stuff. Acting leaves a bit to be desired at times. Some lovely ideas. Not an easy-going watch, but worthwhile making an effort for.

  2.  Very Little Going for it

Such a good idea - and a sexy one too. But fails completely to engage. The acting is poor as is the cinematography. Use of Shakespeare text should work but the director/writer hasn't worked out how to do it. The actors speak WS text as if they haven't a clue what it means. What a disappointment.

  3.  Unusual; intelligent; moving

This is an engrossing film. The mysterious virus is a metaphor that allows the film to explore what it means to be human in a world in which we lose everything - except the ability to be human. Lovely acting; a powerful story told through the growing love between two people. Not your average sort of SF film, much better.
