  1.  Telltale of the Dead

With most shows and films being butchered when converted into games there is always a sense of dread when you hear that a good show is on the verge of a new digital guise.

Telltale already had history rebooting PC classics Monkey Island also Sam and Max with a good level of success. Rather than focusing on the existing story in place to mirror the show it runs a story in an adjacent timeline to Rick's story with a few references back and even some cross over but still keeps a seperate story.

It focuses on teacher turned convict Lee seeing the events as they unfold from his eyes. The game itself relies on a few different mechanics. Classic point and click interaction, dynamic storytelling where decisions you make impact how the story unfolds as well as your relationship with other survivors and some QTE (quick time events) where you have an action sequence where you need to action the requests shown on screen

The result is a very absorbing storyline where you really care about the characters and with the impact of your decisions you will want to go back and see how it plays out if you choose to save one person and not another
