  1.  Cant beat them!

Shrek has to be my favourite animation of all time! Number one was brilliant, all the characters are great, and the story line was fantastic. Number 2 was even better, introducing more great characters. I must admit, I wasn't so keen on the third however I can say that I know alot of people who did enjoy it. Last but not least, the icing on the cake. The fourth was absolutely classic, I wasn't expecting too much but it was the best of all! Kids, no kids, animation fan or not, you must watch these.

  2.  Grown Ups

This was fun a movie, there is moments of bad acting and scenes that aren't quite a funny as there hoping to be. Nonetheless the thing that made it enjoyable was the banter between the adults, it felt real, its the type of banter you really would have if you were out on a boys weekend away. If you looking for a movie to blow your mind, don't buy this, however if your looking for a light hearted comedy, this is for you

  4.  Now You See Me

Now You See Me was brilliant, Its rare you get a magic based movie, which is a shame because I love magic (not that I can do any). Not only was it very interesting to see all their tricks and how they did them, it was also very well thought through. Don't expect a Harry Potter type movie, this seems very much real. Every actor played their characters brilliantly as I believe none of them have ever done anything like this, apart from Michael Caine, in 'The Prestige'. If you enjoy being fooled, please do buy this movie, you wont be disappointed.

  6.  The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford

Don't listen to the hype. The reason to why people review this film negatively is simple, these are the people who own 15 DVD's and just watch movies for the sake of it. If however you are passionate about films, and can appreciate acting and directing to a higher extent then your in for a treat (although I must admit I didn't enjoy it the first watch, It was the second time that got me). Needless to say Brad Pitt created an image of Jesse James that will never be forgotten. Sam Rockwell (Green Mile), one of the most underrated actors ever (but don't get me started on that), was absolutely fantastic as always. But much credit is due to the phenomenal Hugh Ross, who did the greatest narrating job I've ever heard. Book a night off, get some peace, and enjoy this film. It takes some serious work to pull off a 3 hour film successfully.

  8.  Moneyball

Moneyball was absolutely brilliant, I'm very much into sport however Baseball is one that I genuinely know nothing about. Despite this, it was still amazing to watch, so please don't shy away if you aren't into Baseball or sports for that matter. This is one of two films I have actually clapped at (Oddly enough the other was a Brad Pitt movie). Once again Brad Pitt doesn't fail to convey exceptional acting ability. Jonah Hill surprised me with his performance, a far cry from his usual comedy roles. It was also nice to see some familiar faces in the lesser roles. It doesn't matter what genre of film you are into, if you are generally a film lover, this is a must watch. You wont be disappointed. Unless your an idiot.
