  2.  Tiger Woods 10 FULL Review

    Ok I've now had the game now for almost 2 weeks and I feel now It is time to express my thought on this year's game.

    Precision Putting

    I really do love the Precision Putting this year and it's definitely not as easy I thought it was going to be. In actual fact, I find it that difficult at times that I find myself now using the Classic Putter for Amateur mode. I'm also currently using this putting method for Tour as well. Why though? It's simple, the only way to compete online is to get as many putts as possible in Tour and using the Classic system makes it much easier to sink severely breaking putts. Saying this, I will more than welcome the patch when it will be Precision Putter only in Tour. This will make it so much more difficult and definitely a welcome change in Tour.

    Broadcast camera

    I absolutely despise this for 10. The Camera absolutely refuses to follow the ball correctly and changing Camera angles for spin just makes it even more annoying. I mean It's great that EA are trying to replicate the TV Broadcast experience but I'd rather actually see where my balls going to end up. I have decided to go back to Follow cam and whilst I get some weird camera angles like last year, it does seem to do a much better job overall.

    Commentary and Graphics

    I've put this under 1 category as I really don't have a whole lot to say about either. First of all, I'd like to talk about the commentary. Now this is much improved over last year but It is just still way too repetitive. The commentators also don't seem to have a clue what's going on. They never know whether the ball is going to stay in the fairway, get close to the hole or whether you're in the bunker. In terms of being able to keep up with what's going on in-game, it's some of the worst commentating I've heard. Saying that though, I love Scott Van Pelt and this is a programming error rather than actually anything to do with the commentators themselves.

    The graphics are much crisper over 09. The fairways, the greens and the rough look absolutely stunning. Whilst the Licensed golfer may not have had an upgrade, the environment modelling is definitely much better and you can tell the guys at EA have put a lot of effort into this.

    Live Weather

    Something I've been waiting for since 05 is the addition of Weather and the ability to use it online. It really does make the game so much tougher. I can't tell you how much fun I had playing in Gale Force winds at St Andrews and Very Fast Greens and Fairways. One thing I've forgot to mention is the fact the Green Hardness is linked to the Green speed this year so if you're playing on Slow greens, you'll be playing on Soft greens and for Very Fast Greens, Very Hard Greens. This also adds an extra element of difficulty to the game and it makes you check every time what the settings are before you go into a game as every single green and fairway now plays so much different than 09. This is an awesome addition to the game and makes for a much more enjoyable experience.

    Live Tournaments

    The Daily tournaments have gotten a huge revamp compared to 09 and there's now so much variety in the tournaments you'd like to play in. From being to choose either a Amateur or Tour daily every day and also Weekly and Play-the Pros which pits you against the real life pros in the conditions that they have to play in. I love the Live Tournaments this year and will play them every single day until the year ends.

    Overall

    The gameplay is just so much different compared to 09 that it makes the game much tougher than ever before. Tournament Challenge is a great refreshing mode compared to Tiger Challenge and made for some tough and challenging moments.
    I LOVE IT 10/10

  3.  The Best season yet.....

    This year 24 has got back on form from an extremely disappointing Sixth Season. From start to finish, Season 7 has just simply been absolutely and definitely one of the best seasons ever. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's better than Seasons 1 or 2 but then again when has ever a Television Series ever got better than its 1st 2 seasons. This DVD is a absolute must buy. If you love Jack, you'll love Season 7 of 24!!

    Year after Year, EA release a TW game and each year us gamers have to settle for just a few new courses and maybe some new courses and also maybe 1 or 2 "gimmick" features. So what's different about Tiger Woods 09 that would make the golf veteran come back or make newcomers more interested than before? First of all, Tiger Woods Coach Hank Haney is put into the mix, At the start of the game, he'll assess your attributes based on your first few shots. Then after each and every round of golf, your skills go up or down depending on how well you do. This actually works really well, it forces you to play well all the time even if you are 10 shots ahead of the pack in PGA Tour Mode. Another new feature, is the Club Tuner, now this allows the golfer to tune their clubs to their own needs and what suits them the most. Seeing as you can now add probably up to 60 yards more to your drives with this new feature, you may think it makes the game easier than before, well not exactly. Each hole now provides a different challenge. On a reachable par 4, do you go for it and risk maybe being in the rough or the bunker, or do you play it safe and make sure you have a close approach? If you chose the first option, then doing this a number of times per round could severely decrease your stats.

    So, Dynamic attributes is an absolutely ingenious feature and it works extremely well. Now finally, another great feature is the Online Simultaneous Play. Now, when playing online, this is optional in Stroke play. Whilst playing you still see everybody's shots and it's basically you against everybody else. It takes much less time than before. In 08, it took 40 minutes to play a 4 way stroke play and now it only takes 10 minutes. When you are not playing simultaneously or playing a team game, you still see other people take their shots but you can no longer see what club they're hitting, how much loft they're putting or even what power they're putting on. So this is much better than before, as it doesn't allow anybody to copy anybody's shots.

    Overall, I give the game a 5/5, the graphics are much better than 08, the water looks sensational. I haven't really got that much to say wrong about 09 as it really is that good, which is something I normally don't say about EA. This year though, they got it just right.

  6.  Absolutely Fantastic!!

    This game is one of the Best Burnouts ever released. The range of different events you can do is amazing. From your average races to Road Rages, Marked Man and Burning Routes.

    It doesn't end there either. Search the city for Burnout Billboards that are scattered everywhere and try and beat every Road Rule incldung Time and Showtime. Showtime is very similar to Crash Mode where you crash into vehivles on the road to make as much destruction as humanely possible.

    If you thought the fun stops there, it doesn't, hop online and complete up to 350 online challenges. Theres about 150 starting points and 8 different finishes so theres hundreds of different races you could have.

    Burnout Paradise is the most fun online and offline experience i've ever had. This is a definite must to anyone's PS3 collection.

  7.  Great Film for a Great Series

    Having been a fan of the Simpsons for about 7 years now, I was really looking forward to this film since they announced they was going to make one and i certainly wasn't disappointed.

    It's a laugh from start to finish and as usual, Homer will have you laughing louder than an erupting volcano. It has its twists, it turns and its a very enjoyable experience.

    There isn't a more enjoyable experience around than watching the Simpsons for 90 minutes.

  8.  Easily a 2nd best to the 1st

    Well i have to say like most people i didn't really know what to expect when i went to see this. However, i was really surpried. It has plenty of gore once again and the traps feel very saw-like. The storyline can get you a little rattled especially at the end but apart from that this is definitely in my opinion one of the best Saws in the series.
