  1.  brilliant album

    Posted:

I bought this album about a month ago not knowing if i would like them or not, I stuck it in my car cd player to give it a listen and it hasn't moved since. An absolutely brilliant band and a brilliant album which I listen to every time i drive. Buy this album you won't regret it!!!!

  2.  Plain and simply one of the best games on the 360

This game is the original gears of war on sterorroids, if you loved the original then you will love this game even more. It has bigger and better guns which is always a plus point, the storyline is more interesting than the original and the graphics are just fantastic, the console is finally getting used to its full capacity.

The only down side of the game in my opinion is the final boss, I'm sure I'll get negative feedback for this but the final boss is just far to easy. General RAAM at the end of the first game took me about 30-40 attempts on insane mode, did this one in 3. My favourite part of the last gears of war was the hardcore gamer factor, you had to really invest some time to complete insane mode and I thought this sequal just lost that a little bit.

Last off, you will love horde mode, absolutely fantastic. A truely brilliant game, hope it doesn't sound like I'm being negative because this game would definatly be in my 360 top 5

  3.  not a bad game, but definately not great.

If you are into your achievements then you will probably like this game. I completed it in about 6 - 7 hours and you get all 1000 point purely for playing through the story.

Some of the parts where you play as kong are reasonably fun, I remember one part where I was being attacked by 3 t-rex's and took turns throwing them off a waterfall.

Generally though I think the game play is pretty awful, the enemies are all the same, there is no variety in weapons and the way the camera angles are is really hard to get used too.

This game is never gonna blow your mind but there are some release games that were much worse than this, mainly you will love this game if you love easy achievements and for a fiver what's the worst than can happen!!

  4.  Good to see square back on form!!!

I'm around 25 hours into this game and I'm really enjoying it, the storyline seems well put together and interesting and it seems a lot of effort has been put into the sidequests which I always like to see, the graphics are nice, nothing amazing but still well done.

As much as I'm enjoying the game it does suffer from one serious issue which is the load times, the more you get into the game the more you get used to it but it can still be pretty annoying. It seems whatever you are doing there will be loading, nearly every time you open a door or go from one area to another you have to sit for around 15 seconds and I just feel it breaks up the flow of the game slightly.

The battle system for the last remnant is very good, something new and fresh, it takes the old turn based combat system and breathes a bit of life into it.

Buy this game, if you are an RPG fan you will enjoy this, if you are a fan of games like FFXII, lost odyssey you will definately enjoy it.

  5.  Pure genius

Along with 'I brought you my bullet you brought me your love' probably my favourite album ever, with 'Helena' being my favourite song done by this band.

If you like someone who sings filled with emotion this is the band and the album for you.

  6.  An essential game for your collection

I thought this game was great, the main storyline was very well put together and very interesting. The game is a good lenght taking around 30 hours to do everything. The voice acting is superb, the graphics are great and I liked being able to pick weather to be good or bad with almost every interaction throughout the game.

As much as I liked the game in my opinion it is not the best game on the 360 as some people suggest. At times the combat is awful your special attacks just don't fit in well so if your like me I just didn't bother using them. I like combat to flow and these attacks almost tried to give it a slight turn based feel that just didn't work.

My only other niggle is the sidequests, I did them all as I try to do this with every game so I can get a full and clear view of the games and these are the worst I've ever seen. I have an 8 year old nephew who could have done aswell. When they were making this game did they have some work experience kids who they just left that aspect of the game to.

In my opinion a truely wonderful game but for all its genius there are quite a few things holding it back from being one of those perfect titles.

  7.  If your an RPG fan then you'll enjoy this game.

If you are already an RPG fan then you'll enjoy this game, I played it through and it took around 30 hours. The game was slightly repetitive with somethings and the battle system seemed a bit dated compared to some newer RPG titles, but generally it is a good solid, enjoyable edition to an often overlooked genre

If you are not an RPG fan then don't chose this game as your experiment, there are bigger and better RPG's out there, try out Lost Odyssey or Oblivion first then when your hooked to the genre play this game, you'll enjoy it more that way.

  8.  more of the same

The shivering Isles is a great add on, it's about 25 hours in length and is just more of the same, which what we all wanted.

Knights of the nine is good but short, I enjoyed it but would have been great if it was more than just a single quest.

Buy the game of the year edition it's worth it.

  9.  the greatest game ever made

In my opinion this is the greatest game ever made, the people at Bethesda should be really proud of what they created. I played 140 hours on this game and my advice to anyone reading this is buy this game now, your life won't be complete untill you own it.

This game allows you a sense of freedom I've never found in any title other than Morrowind the game before Oblivion in the Elder scrolls series.

Graphically this game is beautiful, the landscapes or huge and well formed and I recently hooked it up in HD and it looks even better.

The main storyline is engrossing and one of the best parts of this game are that the side quests are as well formed as as the main plot. You can join several guilds the fighters, mages, theives and assassins guild (dark brotherhood), each of these guilds are like a game in themselves, with well rounded plots, unique prizes and great characters.

I would now list the bad points of the game but I must honestly say there aren't any so I won't bother.

  10.  My favourite game of all time
