  1.  5 fantastic games in one!

the time ive spent playing team fortress 2 alone makes the price tag worthy. TF2 is great even for a beginner to pick up. since i lose patience with the elitism of black ops i found it ideal to get back into first person shooters.
Portal is great fun and a good puzzle game, so much so that i will soon be getting Portal 2. the ending credits were also worthy of a few giggles.
as for half-life 2, episode 1 and 2 theres probably a good 20 hours of gameplay plus a lot more if you want to unlock all achievements. the only thing i wish this game had was a co-op mode.

  2.  One of Kinects weaker titles

Never been disappointed with a Sonic game until i played this one. Did the tutorials and a few races but got bored quite quickly. i found the controls fairly unresponsive and sometimes found Sonic doing what he wanted - this may have been a result of my shape changing after jumping and having to shuffle back. Children will almost definitely struggle to play this as you need patience and good posture. the whole time you stand side on and simply shift your weight and stance slightly. id wait for better kinect racing titles, this definitly felt rushed to meet with the launch of Kinect

  3.  poor!

dont be fooled, its cheap for a reason...its rubbish. if you are patient you will get a hell of a lot more from the new Football manager

  4.  How can something this small be so good?

I read the reveiw on the gadget show and thought ok they seem very impressed with it so ill give it a go. Play.com offered the best price around and i am always happy with the level of service i get from Play.com so they got the money out of me. I got this for my mum and she was excited unwrapping it and she was asking for a docking station for months. when she plugged it in i was absolutely amazed! the sound is so crisp and i didnt even dare go as loud as it could for fear of bursting my ear drums. This can easily fill a large room. Not as portable as i hoped. being a cube its harder to pack in a suitcase. i guess its the trade off for sounding so dam good! Mains supply to power its 2 speakers and sub with european adaptor if you plan to take it abroad.
it has a neat colour changing light on its side. would be cool if it would automatically alternate between the colours - yes that is the only improvement i can think of... if your gonna get a docking station make it this one!

  5.  Pure & Simple brilliance

This is in my opinion the best PS2 game to date. i have spent nearly 50 hours of gameplay on this beauty and still plenty for me to do. Had my doubts when i first picked this up being a turn based fan but to my surprise the gambit system has really grown on me. At £10 it is a must for any PS2/3 owner!

  6.  Not bad

These speakers are pretty good. sound quality is impressive for a portable set but not as loud as i thought they would be. dunno why since they are only 5W output. 3.5 stars if i could give it that. good price nonetheless

  7.  Easy to use! Great price!!

You cannot beat 80 quid for an 8gb MP3 player. for me the ipod nano's are too small and expensive, i own a creative zen and while its good and fairly reasonable price the 30gb will probably take a lifetime to fill with my favourite tracks. This sony MP3 player is so easy to use my little sister has no problems operating it or using the software. for those technophobes that say they dont know how to use the software i am astounded... the sony software is just as user friendly as i tunes.
full marks to Sony and Play for selling this great bit of kit at such a low price!
