  1.  "..PERFECT SEQUEL.."

    Fantastic sequel in every way, this movie is bigger and better than the first, the story continues from the last with cobra commander escaping and the remaining Joe's have to foil his taking over the world plot, loads of quality action scenes and cool ninja fight scenes with snake eyes and storm shadow, Dwayne Johnson is an awesome addition the cast and fits right in, the story is now rounded off nicely and you come away feeling you just had damn good fun!!! If you loved the original then this will certainly satisfy, some of the original cast is absent yet that is sort of explained and doesn't make any real difference as a good new cast takes their place and the cool addition of the brilliant Bruce Willis as the original Joe!! Cool soundtrack too to carry the action along, check it out!!!

  2.  "..COOL HORROR THRILLER.."

    I was almost put off watching this after such negative feedback but was very glad I did as it was a very good film, the story was great, right from the start it pulls you in and keeps you interested and wondering as to just what is going on, the overall feel of the film was very 80s in its style and title and the way the story played out with a few twists that are actually quite good, I had a lot of fun watching it and would certainly watch it again, Jennifer has done many roles and this is certainly one of her best she looks fantastic and helps the film along well with good character interaction, the films not that gory or anything it's a sweet and simple horror/thriller with good story and twists and some creepy vibes and scares, good entertainment well worth a watch!!! There is a making of too in the features. The bluray picture is very good.

  4.  "..TOP MARTIAL ARTS ACTION.."

    Great movie, very entertaining from the stylish and bloody open sequence to the bloody finale, great story jam packed with classic martial arts scenes and styles from different types of movies from over the years, the cast was great, RZA does an awesome job at directing and starring as the man with the iron fists, Russell Crow was a big surprise he is very good, Lucy Liu is great to watch as always, and the rest of the cast was great too, its jam packed with gory fights and death scenes and the cool brass body assassin, this movie is very original and so much fun, if you love films like kill bill and wild over the top martial arts movies this is a must see, great soundtrack too and great features and good picture quality.

  5.  "..OLD SCHOOL ACTION.."

    Stallone has defiantly made a big come back now and has proved he's still a big action star, bullet to the head may not be his best since Rambo but its still a great action movie, it's a simple revenge theme thriller that's fast paced and full of violence, very 80s in its style and theme, its good to see Stallone playing a bad guy criminal for a change too, the support cast was good Jason Momoa (Conan) was pretty badass and played a cool rival to Stallone's character and they have a good showdown together, if you want to see a gritty violent action movie then check it out, it may not be worth a second viewing for some but certainly worth checking out once especially if your still a big fan.

  6.  "..VERY COOL PREQUEL.."

    I'm a big fan of the original remake with Jason Statham and great prequel Death race 2, and death race 3: Inferno does not let down the fans, it's the second prequel of the series, great story taking it away from the last two and making it a bit more original with some quality chases and races and destruction all on a very good budget, more cars more babes and more bloody violence, Luke Goss is a quality actor and plays the lead well and most of the stars from the last movie are here too like Danny Trejo, the story has a very cool twist as well that leads it nicely to tie into the original events in the Statham version, if you like a good action movie then this is top entertainment.

  7.  "..MODERN CULT CLASSIC.."

    Astron 6 has done it again with another awesome movie to stand along the recent father's day! This is low budget filmmaking at its very, very best, Manborg is a throwback to cheesy Sci-Fi's of the 80s with lots of references to classic films but is 100% original, pure entertainment from start to finish with crazy low rent green screen effects and cheesy acting and dubbing and dialogue but its totally fantastic, the movie is made this way on purpose so make sure you know what your getting yourself into when you watch it, great cast as usual, brilliant bad guys the make-up effects and gore are awesome!! The soundtrack is great too especially on the cool open credit sequence, this is a modern Grindhouse style cult classic and must be seen, fantastic special features too and commentary, a bargain at any cost!!

    Forget the last sequel because this does not continue from that at all, this movie disconnects itself from the last movies and stands alone in a parallel timeline, Van Damme's character is now the villain as his programming has gone AWOL (Excuse the pun) and he is leading a group of UNISOLS (including lundgren) towards the day of reckoning (as in the title) which sees UNISOLS thinking for themselves and taking over humanity, but they never counted on John (Scott Adkins) a man on a different mission to kill them all, there is a classic sci-fi element to the film with the mythology of the past universal soldier films but also this time its more action and violence, the film relies heavily on the violence and there is plenty of it and its very cool, with some quality fight scenes mainly from Adkins who steals the show, he has a great show down with both Lundgren and Van Damme!! Overall its very different from the others and some people wont accept it but I think it was fresh and original and certainly still very entertaining!!

  10.  "..QUALITY FILM, VERY ENTERTAINING.."

    This is certainly one of Stones best movies in a long time, a very cool story based on a novel by the same name, this feels very much like a Tarantino style movie the way it plays out with great fun and interesting characters that get themselves into some sticky situations as they mingle with the wrong people, the movie centres around the three main characters Chon and Ben and their girl O whom they share, they grow and sell the best weed in town and get mixed up with a rival Mexican drug cartel who kidnaps O and then everything goes wrong as the two boys turn to violence to get her back, it's a well paced movie that keeps you going with strong performances from a quality cast Salma Hayek, John Travolta and Benicio Del Toro are all great supporting cast, this is well worth checking out, the extended bluray cut is around 10 minutes longer making it around a 2hr 20min film, there is a commentary and behind the scenes and deleted scenes too.
