  1.  "..BRILLIANT.."

    This is an amazing film from the director of the exorcist, it shows he still has some real talent after all these years and especially with choosing his cast, every actor in this movie was amazing!! McConaughey was brilliant (I never thought I would say that) the best thing he has ever starred in and Juno Temple is amazing, such young talent and the supporting cast was great too with Gina Gershon and Thomas haden church both great, great story with powerful and memorable performances and a cocktail of nudity and strong bloody violence, a true modern classic that must be seen, gem of a film!! Shame there are not many features only interviews with cast but the bluray picture is great.

    Loved every second of this movie, it's a simple film with a small cast and a low budget but very well spent, great cast of actors especially Ashley bell from the last exorcism, loved watching her in this!! The effects are good too very bloody and violent, the movie has a good tone to it too throughout very dull and bleak looking future, simple story about a group of humans trying to stay alive in the last days on earth against violent gangs that want meat basically (everyone has turned barbaric in need of food) very entertaining gem of a film, a must see. Shame there is no UK bluray version or features.

    For a small British film this is just amazing and stands up to Hollywood movies any day, written by the talented Noel Clarke who also stars, the story is simple yet brilliant with a group of people stuck in a security storage facility after it locks down due to a power malfunction caused by a massive explosion in the middle of London, a military plane crashed carrying what turns out to be an alien, a deadly alien that likes human flesh. The entire cast is great, the effects are top notch, the monster effects are old school man in a suit but look awesome and very original and scary, there are a few cool gore moments and stand out scenes, this is a gem of a film and must be seen, if you love sci-fi then this will certainly bring a smile to your face especially the very last scene of the film. Brilliant!!

    Brilliant movie, very entertaining from the beginning up until the end, lots of twists and turns, the movie essentially starts out as some kind of horror/thriller then a quarter of the way through your thrown right off with a big twist and think what's happening here? The story then unfolds cleverly into a completely different type of movie with a deep yet satisfying conclusion; Jessica Biel is amazing to watch and gives a convincing performance and carries out the story and the twists nicely, Jodelle ferland is also amazing in this too. Certainly worth a watch, brilliant thriller that's original and clever, shame there are hardly any features.

  7.  "COOL SEAGAL MOVIE.."

    Its great to see action master Steven Seagal is still knocking out films for his fans at his age, yeah, yeah he's old and bit overweight now big deal, he's still one cool guy and a legendary action star, this is a very cool movie which he stars along Steve Austin who is also a cool tough guy hero, the story is simple but delivers the goods with plenty of violence on both parts, I would say they have kind of equal share of the screen. No features unfortunately but the bluray looks good defiantly check it out if you're a big fan of either actor.

    BLURAY STEELBOOK REVIEW

    This is by far one of the most awesome movies in cinema history, a brilliant story of a family man murdered and rebuilt into a machine who goes on to avenge his death, awesome cast and brilliant effects for the time, the suit and make-up is so iconic and the soundtrack too is perfect, this steelbook is pretty much the most awesome version you could own,the movie IS TOTALLY UNCUT! All the gore is here in its bloody brutal glory! The DVD you get with it has the directors cut too and the DVD HAS GOT ALL THE SPECIAL FEATURES from the collectors edition. If you don't have it already it's certainly worth picking up, the picture quality is not amazing but its still rather good. I have the 20th anniversary uncut steelbook DVD too which has all the features but this bluray was just so tempting!!

    REMEMBER YOU DO STILL GET ALL THE SPECIAL FEATURES ON THE DVD.

  9.  "..TOP COMIC BOOK MOVIE.."

    This movie kick started the comic book movies in a big way on release, still one of the best they made the original is still a strong movie after all these years, great story, cool effects, great cast and some funny humour in places and of course some good comic book action, this STEELBOOK version is great quality in picture and sound, the disc does have the special features present which is a bonus.

  10.  "..TOP OCCULT HORROR.."

    Made in 2009 this is rather a gem of a horror, very cool story about the Nazis dabbling in occult experiments during the third Reich and re awakened present day, nicely directed by Joel Schumacher probably the best thing he has ever made, and a brilliant cast too especially Michael Fassbender as the lead Nazi villain, this is all great fun, nicely paced out with plenty of action and violence, some scenes are very gory, well worth checking out.
