  1.  NEEEEEED FOR SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!

Amazing game, dont let people telling you it crashes put you off, it doesnt at all on my rig, runs solidly at 60fps on an ati HD5750 with a phenom quad core and 4gb ram, if this means nothing to you, you probably should'nt be buying games on the PC. The game is rock solid old school arcade fun, no messing for hours in menus, just action (after a few intro cutscenes, then never again). The sense of speed is unreal especially as a racer using a turbo! (you'll find out what I mean). playing as cops or racers is equally satisfying and gives a real sense of achievement. The online side of things so far has been sublime, very short loading times, stable and fair and by a long way the best way to play. Hot pursuit mode actually gives me a rush (something a game hasn't done in some time). There are a few graphical niggles such as no AA and lacking some weather effects but I am sure it'll be patched at some point, this does NOT affect the game though, which is in my opinion an instant classic.

  2.  Give it a while and it'll seep into your brain

On the face of it this album seems to lack the impact of Hot Chip's previous efforts, but don't let that put you off. The production this time round seems to be much more slick, more poppy, tracks like 'hand me down your love' and 'I feel better' at first seemed to me to be a bit throwaway, then you realize hours later you are still singing it in your head and you remember the string section and all the other elements that just come in at the right moment to add up to a great aural experience. The tone of the album is more reflective and less aggressive but the hooks are all still there, the little things that keep you coming back for more. Give it a few listens and then you'll find yourself wanting to hear more and more, roll on the next album!

  3.  YOU IDDDDDDDIOT!!!!

How has this not been reviewed yet? Speak up Ren and Stimpy fans! I sat with a friend to watch these recently and they made me laugh as much now as they did the first time I saw them. Sadly it's a kind of animation that's very hard to find now, well paced, characterful and engrossing. Some sections are genuinely disturbing and its frequently subversive... all the more reason to love it. If you have never seen it give it a go, modern cartoons such as Spongebob Squarepants owe a debt to this classic cartoon duo

  4.  You can't complain for the price

Bought for £14.99, this little drive its excellent value for money. Yes it is made from plastic, so yes, it feels 'plasticy', but honestly how many people sit feeling up their pen drives? The u3 stuff is a nice freebie, there aren't many apps available and somehow i doubt there ever will be, if you don't want to use it, you don't have to it even asks you this the first time you use it! The write and read speeds are fine, not amazing but fine. My only real issue with the drive is the retractable nature of it, plugging it in can be little bit fiddly as it wants to slide back into its cover, other than that i am very happy with my purchase, oh and i almost forgot! It has a really nice little glowing orange light that pulses when its active.

In short if you are not bothered about cutting edge speeds and eyebleedingly cool aesthetics this is the drive for you!

  5.  Excellent Device, an HD must have

had a 42" hd TV for a while now with nothing but 360 games to show off its capabilities. thought it was about time to check out HD movies, did my research and decided this little add-on was the best value for money I could get (the 5 free discs pay for the drive) if my TV could talk it would thank me I'm sure. the colours, depth and clarity are all as amazing as the blurbs on the back of the discs say. Transformers was a delight to watch and almost overwhelming with the 5.1 system pounding too. for a comparrison I immediatley watched the transformers normal dvd afterwards and was left totaly underhwelmed and in awe of what HD really means. the only problem at the moment is the pesky bluray competition and lack of titles but if you buy this drive its one step to knocking bluray out of the water (bluray is sony's HD format with a somewhat confusing name at least HD DVD has 'DVD' in the title). I am looking forward to all new HD releases and re-releases (Forest gump is a film I would really love to see in HD)

If you have an HD TV and an Xbox-360 then you must buy this immediatley!

  6.  amazing

you are looking at buying this and presuming you have a 5.1 setup all you need to know is that you need this in your life! absolute genius, genius being a word thats all too frequently used today but certainly applies to this album. the added extras (unfinished outtakes) are excellent and really give a flavour of what it must have been like to just hear Talking Heads jam.

    BUY BUY BUY

  7.  fits like a glove but a bit rough round the edges

scuba case tends to be a bit misleading as waterproof it is not. in fact the corners are left completely exposed so offers no protection there, the screen cover is not hard so the screen is not protected from knocks. after a few days threads of cotton have started to come lose and it looks really tacky. all I wanted to do was protect my phone when at work but now my w880i looks like some awful phone from the 90's including a naff belt clip. Go for a silicone skin! 2 stars simply because I have seen worse
