  2.  Crue Crest Cruzies Crazy

Crue Crue Cruezendo the peach of all shows this - man this rocks. Having seen the old Crue at some memorable shows in the past Marquee, Donnington. and Hammersmith 2 name a few any person who was at this show was giving a real treat man, the ultimate rock till u drop band. This is a hell of a better dvd than the last live opus i viewed (but that was purely to see the awesome timing of Samatha Maloney drumming that night). This has some incediable footage of music the big performances were in 7 of my favourite songs - the opener Shout at the Devil, Looks that Kill, Girls! Girls! Girls!, Too Young to fall in Love, Without You, Home Sweet Home, and Dr. Feelgood for sheer playing. One thing for sure when u watch this show u know the Cue-ize are in complete control. Carnival of Sins - Carnival of Delightsssss.......Irish Cowboy Johnny - 7 am!!!! - 9/02/08.

What more can I say anticaption always wins when the content is unique. Having attended 2 of the 3 nights in Dublin on this Seeger Sessions Tour (review 1) as well as the imfamous Belfast gig on the last night of the tour the quality on this dvd is pretty awesome little things come back to me the words are sheer power in this moment in Dublin's music history. Never has a artist delivered more sheer musical content on dvd as this. To not purchase this you are missing something so so special just watch the facial expression on Bruce as he whips into Atlantic City perfection is a word that sometimes is missused not in this content from begining to end on this dvd. Highlights someone would ask - ALL!!! this dvd rocks all the way though - personal favourites are the true cowboy in me Jesse James then Mrs. McGrath for delivery as well as Pay Me My Money Down for the endless volume of sheer noise from that estatic Dublin crowd second only to Belfast in volume and finally When The Saints Go Marchin In no prisioners taken there by Bruce signed sealed and deliverd to perfection. Finally in summing up anyone who was there will back everything I say as it was something so so special that I dont think it will ever be surpassed. Tears of joy flowed that night as people got more than expected. DUBLIN WAS AT THE POINT OF NO RETURN IN MUSICAL HISTORY......SIGNED SEALED DELIVERED - NEW BOSS RULES!!!!!!!.......IRISH COWBOY JOHNNY TRUELY HAPPI.......

Well what can one say when the True Boss comes to town. I went to the first 2 nights in Dublin (Friday and Saturday) and the last night in Belfast (Tuesday) of the incrediable Seeger Sessions tour and there is one song in particular that leaves a lasting memory from those shows is befitting of our land here - We shall Overcome even now it sends tears down my eyes for the simple reason Bruce delivered what he set out to do. Everyone who left those Dublin and Belfast shows were in no doubt, the old boss was dead long live The New Boss. Artists come and go but few deliver, those nights in Dublin he certainly deliverd all the aces. The fact is when Bruce kicked off at 20.30 pm on that Friday night in The Point Theatre he played non-stop right to the very end very few performers can sustain such intensity and carry a gig off that would be to us punters unforgettable those night were UNFORGETTABLE!!!!!!! The fact was he had the right set list for such an occassion u would not have heard a pin drop when he played When the Saints go Marchin In for example true professional when on an occassion fans got excited Bruce up there in a 3 piece type suit believe it or not just sweated and grinned all the way through. Highlights for me being a true Irish Cowboy was Jesse James and the band really came to the point of no return when they delivered Mrs. McGrath to a manic Dublin crowd my god those musicans up there did enjoy themselves. Finally the song that also left a memory to me was Jacob's Ladder I thought Bruce was never gonna stop and the highlight of the night Bruce lying exhausted over the top of the piano as if he had not a breath left in the world. Dublin was a case of the time the music and the performer - A MOMEMT IN TRUE HISTORY FOR DUBLIN TOWN......
