How does a band so brilliant have so little spotlight.
This is the best album of 2010, maybe the best album of the last decade. The first listen you will be impressed, the more you listen to it, it will take over your life. I always loved the sound of the 60s & 70s, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Rolling Stones & the Beatles so was amazed when I first heard this. It fits so well with the sound you'd have heard in Portobello Road. This is up there with Sergeant Peppers.
Have a listen, 11 track of pure blissed out psychodelia and melodic rock.
My only complaint is the poor sound quality of the album. I'm not sure if its meant to be like this although a good run through a studio would enhance this album although I do admit it does make it sound more raw & live. Talking of live, my mate had never heard a track by them although I persuaded him to go and see them at Glastonbury and he's now a fully signed up fan. Buy buy buy.
