Not a bad follow up to their excellent debut album

Ok, so this is isn't as good as their first album carnavas, but it does have some good tracks. When i first listened to it, i was looking for another 'lazy eye' because that track happens to be one of my favourite tracks of all time, however, the nearest thing to lazy eye is the track which is also their first single from swoon - panic switch. Very catchy and just great to listen to, with an interesting guitar solo. However the album has floors. The guitar seems to have been pulled back in this album, and there are less moments to musical greatness in the album such as the two minute instrumental section in lazy eye. The bass lines are also very similar in most of the tracks, which was something i found to be quite strange. Overall a good album but a little flawed by repetitiveness

  2.  Great Game with few petty flaws

Guitar Hero World Tour is a great game, especially if you've not played guitar hero or any other rythym game, this would be a great place to start. There are 86 songs, with downloadable content to released every week. The gameplay for guitar is the same as the previous games, but the bass has a new open string feature, where you just strum without pressing any buttons, this makes bass as interesting as guitar in my opinion, and gives it a bit more diffuculty. The drums are comparable to rock bands, but they have a extra note if your're using the guitar hero drum kit. The vocals are basically the same as rock band, and very similar to many karioke games out there.

The difficulty is easier than guitar hero 3, but harder than rock band 1. The only flaws with the game, are the GH tunes sounding like a ring tone on a mobile phone, and the online quickplay is lucklustre and somewhat rushed. Overall a great game however.

  3.  Great Game, Great fun!

I pre ordered this last week, and it did manage to come on the day of realease (unlike Kane's Wrath). Only played first two setlist's, but after some pre-play research, I can tell you that this is a great game. It has both solo and multiplayer careers, so you can either get some friends over and play, or go it alone on your chosen instrument. I'm currently using the guitar hero controllers (I have two gibsons), and they will work fine as lead guitar and bass. You can also use your xbox live head set as the microphone. There are a range of songs total of around 65 I believe, and around 90% are master recordings. The game as many more customization options compared to guitar hero, and as you progress you unlock more clothes and guitars etc. 5/5

Only setback is the price of the instuments in the uk. If your just getting it for the guitar part, then I suggest buying a standalone guitar hero gibson (£45), rather than the rock band strat (£60). It seems to be a lot better sensitivity wise.
