FYI, the techniques used to control time differ to that from previous games to attempt it... and to be honest from the demo, I've never seen anything implemented like it.
The demo starts off in the rain, and the time slowing and stopping events actually slow down the drops so that you can see each individual droplet hitting the floor, the enemies and objects around you, all while you move at normal speed!
You learn quickly that the only way to progress through certain areas is to use the time control effects to complete challenges and clear rooms full of enemies. One classic maneuvre is to slow/stop time and grab the guns of the enemies in a room. Boy do they all panic when time beings to flow again!
