  1.  Wow!!

    Posted:

I've had this phone for a week now & i'm quite amazed at its look & features. As soon as i removed it from the box & held the solid titanium in my hands i knew it was a keeper, never has a phone felt so solid & confortable in my hands before. The Amoled screen is bright & crisper than i've ever seen & there are alot of features to play around with. The capacative touch screen is extremely responsive & very easy to use. I considered getting the Htc Desire as it has a larger screen which makes easier for texting (as i have large fingers) however there is no problem with this at all. The camera is also excellent with pictures coming out crisp & bright, certainly the best camera on a smart phone at this moment.
Battery life on this phone is not great if like me you use it very often for texting, facebook, internet & twitter - normally at the end of the day i have about 30% battery left & i have to charge the phone over night. This does not fase me however if you're a heavy'ish user like me then be prepared for this. Highly recommended!

  2.  WHY

I bought this as i lost the cords for my powerball. It works perfectly however had i known i could buy replacement cords from the official powerball website i would not have bought this.

  3.  BETTER THAN FNR3?? HELL NO

I've been waiting for this game for over a year & after days of playing i can't understand how anyone can say this is better than FNR3. FNR3 took 2 steps forward then they decided to take one step back with this. I've sat playing this for a few days now & the annoyance of throwing successful punches one after the other is very fustrating. This has been made impossible due to the rediculous controls. Comparing this to FNR3 is like comparing an Audi TT to a Ferrari Enzo. No contest

  4.  Perfect

I lost my original ipod cable so bought this one from playtrade for less then £2 & it works perfectly on my 2nd generation Ipod Nano. I haven't had any problems inserting the cable into my Nano or removing it like some people have said previously. It even has an arrow at the end of the cable to show you which side up it's inserted, & also little push in buttons on the side which you have to press in when releasing the cable from the Ipod (make sure you push both these buttons in when releasing the cable otherwise you could end up with a damaged Ipod that refuses to charge.) I don't think this is the official ipod usb cable, but who cares at the price i paid & it works just like the official product. Brilliant!

  5.  Marmite

I was unsure about this film due to the mixed reviews it has received but decided to see what all the fuss was about. I personally didn't like it & thought it was seriously over hyped by the media. I think it's one of those films people will either love or hate & the best option is certainly to watch it & see whether it'll be in your top film list, or like me, simply use it as an ash tray.

  6.  Definately his best

In my opinion this album is definately 50 Cent's best to date & is in my top 10 rap/hiphop albums!

    1 - Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP
    2 - 2 Pac : Greatest Hits
    3 - Dr.Dre - The Chronic
    4 - Cypress Hill - Cypress Hill
    5 - Nas - Illmatic
    6 - Nas - Stillmatic
7 - 50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Tryin'
8 - Fat Joe - Jealous Ones Still Envy
9 - Ja Rule - Pain is Love
    10 - Fugees - The Score

This is just my opinion & i'm sure some people will think of others that they think are better than some of these. If you're a true rap/hiphop fan though, i'm sure you would appreciate most of these albums.

  7.  In my top 10

  8.  The truth hurts doesn't it?

1 - The Ai is rediculously stupid. You'll sometimes watch the opposition run the ball from midfield all the way down into your box & then out, for no reason...Goal kick.

2 - The referee's diabolical decisions. You'll run along the left wing just about to cross. All of a sudden the opposition tackles you, the ball clearly comes off them & go's out...Goal kick.

3 - Players fall over if you so much as breathe on them.

4 - Too easy, even on the hardest difficulty.

5 - There's something like a 1 - 2 second delay when passing or shooting the ball, which can be extremely annoying.

Theres no doubt hardcore Fifa fans are going to ignore these issues & simply play on. I love Fifa & tried to ignore these problems but simply couldn't & the only positives i could find are the realism of skills, the graphics & the easily gained points. Lets hope the next Fifa is better than this heap of cattle dung.

  9.  Good fun but slight problems

This game is definately fun but as a few people have mentioned before, it clearly does not score points correctly & just gives them out as it feels. I was singing vs my girlfriend to Umbrella (Rihanna) & i simply muttered random words during the whole song & i actually beat her. How does that work out? (Possibly because she can't sing)
I was at my mate's the other day, he has singstar for the PS3 & i found it to be a lot better than Lips in terms of picking up the correct pitch & correct words. Don't get me wrong though, Lips is still fun especially for having a laugh with friends or family.
If you're online then you can also download extra songs from the market place. Only downside is you have to pay for most of them (Normally around 160 points) So far i've only downloaded:

    1 - Ben E King - Stand by me
    2 - Bing Cosby - White Christmas
    3 - Kylie Minogue - Santa Baby

Thats it so far but there a loads others you can download.

If you like singing & having a laugh then get this game. If you already own a PS3 or PS2 & you happen to have Sing Star then i personally don't see the point. 1 advantage though, the mics for Lips are completely wireless.

  10.  ITS GOOD...ITS GOOD

Played this for the 1st time yesterday. Was only on it for 3 hrs, but so far so good! There are some new additions to the game as some of you will already know, & my favorite is the new ways you can take the locust out. Once your enemy is downed you can either punch them to death (which I personally enjoy the most) use them as a shield while going crazy with your pistol or just do the usual curb stomp. Also when you're downed you can crawl to a team mate so you can be revived or just button bash the A button (& I mean button bash!)
There's also some new enemies added to this game, some of which I find extremely annoying (Try playing on Insane & see what damage the Tickers cause)

The graphics, in my opinion, are better than the 1st Gears but I wouldn't say "by far" & I've got a Samsung plasma HD TV (by the way if you don't have a HD TV you're missing out) with HDMI cable etc set up.

I loved the 1st Gears of War & this one, so far, is a lot better.

    Graphics - 8.5/10,
    Game play - 10/10,
    Sound - 9/10,

    A definite, & 1st, 5 stars from me!
