  1.  Not quite as expected......

Ok, so I knew I wasn't going to get another heroin Diaries, but still...
This book is mostly about Nikki's passion for photography and personal conversations about his childhood and so on. Of course all of his bands are mentioned but not very much and not that interesting at all. There is more about Kat Von D than Motley Crue and Brides of Destruction all togehter. But if you think there's nothing more to be said about those bands than already said in "The Dirt" and "Heroin Diaries" well, then I guess it's ok reading. But I was very disapointed and felt left out. Having read the mentioned books above and Vince's book also, I believe I know what I'm talking about. So to sum it all up, don't expect to be reading about his music and bands but more his thougts and feelings on how to cope with everyday problems and stuff like that

  2.  A bit dissapointed

Perhaps it's just me, but this isn't quite what I thought it would be. Mostly it's about how nice a guy Dime was and how he could throw back some cold ones. Of course there is a lot about Pantera too, but it leaves so many questions unanswered. Never quite getting as deep as you could hope for. Having read "Slash", "The Dirt" and "Heroin Diaries" this comes no way near those master pieces.

  3.  Worth the money

This dvd contains some very rare footage and of course not all is in pro-quallity. But "Welcome to the jungle" from MTV awards is worth the money alone. Not to mention "Down on the farm" in which Steven trips over his drums on his way up on.

  4.  Best since Dr. Feelgood

This just keeps getting better and better for each time i spin it. I discover a new riff each time.
As long as you don't compare it to the above mentioned, this is as good as it gets so far this year.....
I'm a big Crüe head and have been for many years. This is how Mötley should sound like today in the year 2008. This is not 1988!!!
